An app that Light in the dark world of credit
I never understood how credit work, I always open and close bank and choose when to pay and I didn’t have the faintest clue that this behavior was severely hindering my credit. Furthermore I didn’t know my credit account was in outstanding from a utility company I stopped using 2 years ago! However, I forgot to close my account so the payment showed as missed payment and has severely affected my account.
Thank you to this app which is able to show my spending, borrowing power in addition to what bills are outstanding and paid for!!!!
Pointless - can’t find credit report.
Signed up to see my credit report with Call Credit, but they couldn’t find a credit report for me. I see from some other reviews that I’m not alone.
I have reviewed my Experian and Equifax reports and had noted some inaccuracies that needed correcting, so I wanted to check against the third credit reference company.
Following the failure to obtain my report I contacted their help desk and received the following (excerpt):
There are a number of verification steps in the authentication process that we follow every time we request data from Callcredit. And based on the details you provided this time, we are unable to access the data needed to produce your Credit Report.
In some cases, this is because the personal information used to sign up does not match the information supplied to Callcredit by lenders. Please contact your lenders and credit card issuers directly to check.
I’ve had several mortgages, loans and credit cards as well as utilities, and have been on the electoral roll for over 25-years - all under the same name and address as was provided. So, I’m rather surprised that they still can’t find me! They did, however, have sufficient information to provide financial products to sell to me as ‘offers’...
I’ve cancelled my account and chalked it up to a poor implementation of an app.

We use the information you provide to us when registering to match with the details that are held on you by Callcredit. Unfortunately, it appears that Callcredit have been unable to match these details.
This could be because Callcredit have been provided with incorrect information on you. You can request your statutory report from Callcredit to check the information that is being held on you. If you do notice any errors, you can then arrange for these to be rectified.
Unfortunately, as this is provided by Callcredit we are unable to provide further information on what has caused this problem.
The offers you mentioned are not provided by Callcredit however. We may have been able to show this as we don't rely on the information from them and instead use the information provided when registering your account.

In some areas it gives you more information than ClearScore and has some really nice features. My credit score is being adversely affected by a loan company saying I’m not paying - This isn’t true so I’ve raised a dispute which was easy to do through TM - This anomaly was not clear on ClearScore and the dispute raising button doesn’t work. So TM wins here. My biggest frustration is the login - No Face/Touch ID support and no password pre-fill. I physically have to go to Passwords bit in settings then it adds my password but blanks out the e-mail address so I have to manually type this in again. It’s a ball ache and this stops me using the app more frequently - Streamline the login process and you have a far more usable and better app.

Thank you for your review and the kind comments. I would like to advise you that we have no implemented biometric login (Face ID/Fingerprint) so you should be able to login much easier. All you need to do is update the app to access these features. Many thanks, Joe
