Best app for music, but a problem after the update

Always been my go to app for music , from any language, both on my phone and ipad.Earlier in the music player, it used to show beautiful album art on left side along with controls , and on the right side the current playlist . It got changed in the update. Now the album art and controls use whole screen and to open the playlist I have to tap down on its button every time .I liked the previous layout. An option to change the layout would be great.

Current playlist will disappear if you haven't gone back to the app in a day or two. Then reloading it from history is a big pain. And even moreso, if you happen to load a playlist and have added songs to the queue to it as well. Then you can only wish this current playing queue hasn't vanished before youre return else it's a very daunting task to relocate and add them especially if they never got played and thus didn't make it to your listening history even.Accessing Artist page from a song or a currently playing song title could also be made easy I suggest.Also the lockscreen widget button tap doesn't resume the song from the playlist rather will start it from the first song all over again. That is also quite sad to deal with.Last for now but yet not the least annoying feature is where your accidental tap whike trying to browse songs can ruin your current queue and play this new track in a fresh empty queue. I mean it can be a great for some people but I am sure most of us would want to have an option to decide what such actions would do by default. Whether add to queue or play it with a fresh queue.Also that makes me think, why not change the UX game and add a way to let user just simply preview a song to ensure they either found the exact track they wanted or whether it's worth an add even if they are trying to discover new music.

I honestly think I’m a bit stingy on this rating, like, this platform is really good with recommendations, and it’s easy and simple to use, and the dark mode is low-key pretty goated, and the selection for artists is something else, but where this music platform goes downhill, is where, when I trun on the radio for this song I really love ( jesus in LA by Alec Benjamin if you’re curious, dw not religious) the list is really weird . when I turn on radio, I expect songs similar to it, and another thing, when I go to an artist’s page (Alec Benjamin don’t ask I’m obsessed) I can’t press repeat, forcing me to manually play it again, and if not, I have to listen to pretty mid artists I’m real lazy, nd that just irritates me quite a bit 😭 I’m real sorry for the stingy rating, btu me and my lazy army needs it 🙏🙏

It’s a strange app. It can automatically turn to portrait mode when you are in landscape mode. The implementation of material UX is dark, strange, and distracting. The ‘Now Playing’ window slides down into separate corners and is almost as featureless as can be (no lyrics support, or artist lookup). On the positive side, the suggestion algorithm is really satisfying. I enjoyed most of the music suggestions. And the ability to browse/enjoy videos is a real bonus. But again, it can implement random album or artist art (which feels downright annoying). And lot of content - playlists, artist info, etc. feel machine made, not hand-made. Of everything else, music is a thing of feeling. And here, it just doesn’t feel living enough. It’s a promising app, but almost everything needs more work. Sorry, I don’t think it’s the thing for me after trial ends.
