Addicting to shop at
i’ve been purchasing lots of stuff here on shopee since the pandemic started and so far, i’ve never been disappointed with the products i bought. i had a problem with my account and was locked out since i used my lost phone number and couldn’t log in, i asked the customer service for help and the attendant i was assigned to is Sir Rick. he was nice and accommodating about my questions and concerns and was able to solve my problem immediately. i also cancelled an order and was refunded through shopeepay and immediately got my refund! my experience with shopee have been great so far and i’m looking forward to shop at it. although some of my concerns is that it gets buggy and laggy sometimes. i also hope that you guys consider adding a feature that separates the rating for the courier and seller since most of the time, defective/damaged products are caused by the courier itself. overall, i have enjoyed and still am enjoying my experience with shopee! haven’t been disappointed with their service. thank you

Reporting a shopee seller
The app is very good. Generally satisfied buyer here. But there is no feedback mechanism in the app where you can file a complaint. I ordered for an umbrella/coat hanger sometime during the community quarantine but it was cancelled by shopee because the seller did not ship my order. So i messaged the seller if they will no longer deliver. The seller replied that my order was already shipped. A few days after, I got a call from the seller and the delivery guy confirming my delivery address, apparently the seller was making arrangements for the delivery of my order. So bottom line, my order was delivered. But to my surprise, the item delivered was very different from the pictures posted in shopee. The seller clearly was lying when he told me that the item was already shipped and he misrepresented the item he is selling. I sent him the picture on shopee and the picture of the item he delivered to show him how different the 2 items are. The delivered item has a lot of similar sellers in shoppee and priced at less than 300pesos but paid mine at 500pesos. I think this is a modus operandi of some sellers because they know that the buyer has no way to complain in the app because it was already cancelled by shoppee. The seller is still selling his items on shoppee and it’s so disappointing that for a few pesos, some people still cheat buyers.

App is great in general
I love the app actually, because it’s a good platform for both sellers and buyers esp during the pandemic times. With just easy click on items, and COD feature, you can get/find items that you need/want. The downsides are: 1) long queue if you want to chat with customer service, and when you talk again to another agent, you will again tell your issue from the beginning; 2) return/refund policy - need to shoulder return shipping cost first, takes weeks to settle either receive the correct item or refund. From buyer’s side, why should he/she be hassled when it is the seller’s fault and should take the responsibility? 3) Shopeepay cannot be used when below 100 balance.
Suggests 1)have a better system in tracing history chats so no need to repeat whole story to every agent, saves time, lessens the queue time 2) make a policy for prepaid return delivery so seller can ship the correct item then buyer can return the wrong item, no hassle for both parties and will be fast 3) make Shopeepay balance flexible to use even if it’s only 1 peso.
