Bismillah. I’ve been struggling in reading the Quran on a daily basis and with this app, I’ve got to say it’s been a delight. The hasanat counter feature has been motivating me to read more than ever and I mean that! Additionally, the vibration feature for you you go to the next verse has such a wonderful feeling on the hand Alhamdullilah. Not only that, but I’m loving how only 1 ayah shows on the page at a time, as well as the translation of it which I’m pleased with since I want to learn the meanings of the verses I’m reciting. When I come across a word I’m having difficulty reciting or I’m unsure of the tajweed, I put to use the audio recording that’s on the left hand corner of the screen which makes it more useful! The only caveat is that you must recite all the Surahs in order from Fatiha down instead of selecting which Surah you want to read, which I hope they can add this feature sometime in the future in sha Allah. All in all, the app is wonderful Allahuma Barik, and I’ve even got along my parents, siblings and friends to use it! Simple design, easy to use, good motivator. Hands down 10/10. BarakAllahu feekum.

I fell in love with this app over a year ago and Alhamdulillah it has helped me a lot to build my Quran recitation habits by the favor of Allah. However, the new updates take away from the real goals and spiritual experience of reciting Quran. I want to recite Quran to get rewards from Allah, not maintain a streak. The app already had a streak tracking feature that was suitable, but for some reason now I have to be praised twice a day for maintaining my streak and get a notification once or twice a day letting me know that I should be constantly anxious about losing that streak. I when I’m reading Quran, I sometimes make use of the handy tafsir feature to see the comments of the prophet (SAWS) and his companions and the scholars. I don’t need random comments on ayahs from people that have no more knowledge than I do. Adding a community feature for people to talk instead of reading Quran, in a Quran reading app, simply adds the opportunity for someone to get bad deeds instead of good deeds on the app and creates the need for a moderator team. I’m particularly stunned at these bizarre developments because there are OBVIOUS improvements that could be made to the app like a memorization tracker, more tafsirs, more reciters, etc, but instead we get this. I am unsubscribing for now but hope this to see in the future that the vision forward for this app becomes focused and prioritizes worship over… what ever this last update was. May Allah accept your efforts and increase you and raise your ranking Jannah.

Often times I find my self having a question about a particular verse in the Quran, however I end up forgetting which one it was once I have the opportunity to get the answer. So, I’d like to suggest putting another icon next to the heart which would be a question mark. This way when users are reading the Quran and have questions about a specific verse they can save it into the question mark category and refer back to it when ever able. Again, a huge thanks to everyone working on bettering this app. Wallahi each update addresses every concern I have, and Alhamdulillah this is something all Muslims can use to start setting the habit of reading the Quran daily.
