I find this app incredibly easy and convenient to use. You can view clothing by men’s or women’s and then it is sorted even further into the type of clothing (swimwear, jeans, T shirts, long sleeve shirts, underwear, socks, accessories, cologne...... etc.). The only problem with all this is that I end up buying a lot of clothes which means I spend a lot of money because it’s just so easy. One click and you’re looking at any type of clothing you desire!! Although a lot of the clothing will remain the same from week to week, at the same time, the clothing is always changing while older clothes are becoming less expensive. There is an amazing amount of variety and styles to choose from - WAY MORE than in the store. Another feature that I love is the “favorites” menu. You can add anything to your favorites and come back at a later time and pull up all your favorites (at which time you can find them on sale). If you click the AEO tab on the app, it tells you all the current sale offers so if you have missed an add for a sale, the current discounts are at your fingertips. And another great feature that I love is that with one click you can view your order history for as long as you’ve been ordering as far as I can tell. After you have ordered you receive confirmation via email of your order and then, lastly, you receive another email when your order is in route and it even has a tracking tab so that you will know exactly where your package is at and when to expect it.

I rate this department store with 5 stars. I rate it high because shopping is easy online, either they have the correct size or not….that skips time wasted searching in store for nothing! Also the quality is great, very comfortable, and last forever! I love this store and I love shopping for my family at this department store. However, I am struggling with continuing to make purchases if the delivery is by FedEx! Delivery has been a nightmare, because of them using FedEx! I would not rate them with a zero. I have had numerous bad experiences with this delivery service. However, for the purpose of this review I will explain my experience with my last order from this department store. My last order I never did receive! I made several complaints and a week or so later FedEx determined the order was delivered at a specific time at my current and physical address. Well it took a honest person down the road, A WEEK LATER OR SO AFTER IT WAS SUPPOSEDLY DELIVERED AND AFTER MY COMPLAINT WAS MADE before they had the time to bring me my package. I was hard for them to find considering we are in a rural area and do not know one another. I have cameras outside of my home and I sent video of 5 minutes before and after of supposedly delivery time! And yet FedEx still claimed the package was delivered. Therefore FedEx stated that the complaint was not verified and they stated that their drive in fact delivered my package. I asked for proof of the delivery and communication stopped!!

I really enjoy using the app to shop since I’m avoiding shopping in public due to the pandemic and also being disabled. It is really helpful, pandemic or not but especially with any disabilities, it is great to be able to shop through the app. It is especially great that if you set up an AE card you can get free shipping and returns. I think this is the essential reason I love shopping with AE because I don’t have to go into a store to try on clothes that always need to be tried on for size and comfort like bras jeans and pants. It saves me a lot of money being able to utilize the free shipping and returns option. Especially since they closed the AE store in my city, we used to have one but it closed in our mall and now the only store is over an hour drive away from me which is difficult with chronic pain and disability. I have been a fan of AE clothes since I was in middle school (I’m 32 now) and I still think they are amazing quality and best fit for my body type. I love that I can actually afford to buy clothes here because they have awesome end of season sales and reasonable prices. Thank you AE for doing the free shipping and returns, it makes it so us middle to no income people can afford to shop and try on clothes remotely, and again is especially great for people with disabilities who have a hard time getting into stores and physical challenges. I love AE.

I absolutely LOVE this app. Everything about it. It’s simple, easy to navigate, and looks nice. I really like how easy it is to keep track of my AEO connected with how many points I’ve got and how close I am to free jeans/bras. It’s so easy to keep track of and it’s so easy to keep track of all my past orders (and let me tell you, there are a lot😝) and current offers. Another thing I really like is that it makes me log in when I go to MY AEO, I love that little extra security feature in case someone were to get ahold of my phone.I HATE going into stores and trying things on, I pretty much always have, so that can make online shopping hit or miss, but I very rarely have an issue with sizing when I order through American Eagle. Only once on a different fit of jeans did I have an issue, but that’s it. I’ve found that the size charts are VERY accurate (I’m 5’4” and weigh 136 pounds) and the reviews are always so helpful with size, quality, fit, et cetera. Another plus to the app (I’m rambling but I’m almost done here) is that as soon as you open it, right there on the top of the screen is the current sales/promotions going on. You can’t miss it. Bottom line, 10/10 I would recommend this app. And if for any reason I ever have a problem, once I get ahold of customer service via live chat or by calling them, they are always so helpful and so nice. I had to wait about 10 minutes one time, but it was worth it because once they got to me and helped me out, I realized they actually care about helping their customers. I’d rather wait for good customer service than not wait for poor customer service any day of the week.😁
