I just downloaded and started to try to work with it… I am experienced seller. So in general it looks like supposed to be easy to list items and work with this app, but… One listing never can be posted and error appears saying “this listing cannot be edited cause item being purchased by a user” ?! I never ever was able to post it in the first place! And whatever I tried to do the error is a same. Then problems with listing similar items - I was able to list my item similar to other seller. There is a button “sale the dame item”. But when I want to sell same items from my store then comes the problems. First of all I didn’t find this button, so I went to Edit my item and then you can copy it. No, it didn’t let me and gave me all the time same error. Doesn’t matter if I refresh or so… So I went to another similar item, but I need to change a photos. Then there are no options to delete the photos, but option to replace - but one by one! Then somehow I was able to add more photos and “delete” option popped up… Every photo you upload to the listing is goes magnified so the total view is cutting the rest of item… you need to adjust every photo one-by-one and control how they will appear. I do my photos of merch in a good scale which is goes with every app, but here some difficulties developing a hard time for sellers.So far for 3 days of using I already contacted support twice…

I have been using Poshmark for a few years, and by far is the best app for selling and buying. I absolutely love it. Everyone is friendly and easy to buy from. I have never had a problem. Selling is a piece of cake! Just post some pics and write a description & price. When an item sells, just print a label, get a free box from the post office and that’s it! The fee is reasonable & if you have questions, there are great instructions and blogs to reference. The people are great well! I had some vintage jewelry that I wasn’t too sure about, and several people answered my questions and referred me to different websites to find out all about the pieces. Everyone is fair & honest. You can get amazing deals, too! Name brand items either new or excellent condition at great prices! Since the app started, they have expanded to home goods as well. You can even have a boutique and purchase from wholesale suppliers to have a real store! I could go on & on about Poshmark. It’s better than any other selling site that I’ve ever dealt with. Actually, I haven’t used another platform since Poshmark. If you are looking for some great deals, you can definitely find them! If you are looking to clean out your closet & make a few bucks…this is the place! If you are interested in earning more & want to start a boutique…this is a great platform. They have parties, giveaways, specials…lots of perks. As long as you have items in great condition and are honest & can ship the items within 2-3 business days, then try it!

As much as I love Poshmark and I love selling on it, I really wish I could figure out better ways to show my clothing items so they are depicted the way they look in person! This would be my only pet peeve with the company. I’ve reached out several times to get some help, but it’s usually the same response and while I’ve tried their suggestions it still doesn’t help. I purchased an expensive camera, hoping that would do something, but it still does not show the true look or even the colors of the items seem to never look like they truly do in person. And keep in mind while reading this I am very good at writing descriptions, by describing as many details of my items so whomever is thinking about making a purchase, they’ll know exactly what they’re getting and won’t be disappointed. Another flaw is advertising on the site. Such as, posting announcements that you are going to have a sale. It’s really difficult to post an ad so you have to get creative using the techniques, available. Lastly, Poshmark recently implemented these great new methods of selling, such as their Posh shows, and their Posh live shows where you can host the actual event. But, I find these events slightly confusing. Because, I’m unsure on which show is which and which show am I allowed to host, as there are some restrictions on who’s able to host a show and when. Hopefully, I can figure this out quickly as I’m excited to build my business into something profitable and more permanent!

I have been on Poshmark since the summer of 2016. I began as a buyer and happened across it through a Facebook page. I love Poshmark on the whole but there are aspects that imo need some tweaking. The doing away with the SU program and in turn creating the Ambassador program has been a miss. The guidelines and requirements are so easily obtained and many non compliant closets are recipients of the AP that it has become a participation trophy. I worked very hard to obtain SU status and was so excited when it came. It gave me a feeling of pride and I wanted to be my absolute best. The current system does not require real work and after gaining the status it seems individuals stop interacting with others because hey the work is done. Etiquette is another issue individuals arbitrarily flagging someone as fake or wrong tagging basically to remove them as competition. Horrible behavior that has no consequences as far as spamming and advertising on someone’s listing. The buyer rating system where they can come back days weeks or months later and revise their rating is wrong. Once left a rating should stand good or bad I will reiterate that I love Poshmark and it has made it possible for me to have extra income and also meet some Fantastic people but that being said if you want individuals to report noncompliance it should be dealt with expeditiously and also a warning to the rule breaker. I view Poshmark as Just that Posh and if you allow these types of behavior you are no longer Posh but like everyone else
