Avoid queues at stations: buy your transport tickets from your iPhone!
The following tickets are available for purchase:
- Metro-Train tickets or Bus-Tram Ticket
- One Way from/to Airports (you cannot purchase this ticket if you already have a Metro-Train Ticket charged on your device)
- Navigo daily (this fare doesn’t permit you to go to airports), weekly, or monthly passes
- Special fares (Anti-pollution pass, Paris-Visit Passes etc.)
- Daily Vélib’ passes
Purchased tickets can then be (depending on the chosen purchasing path):
- Stored on the iPhone and validated directly at stations (from iPhone Xr and iOS 17.5)
- Loaded onto your Navigo pass (from an iPhone 7, with at least iOS 13. iPhone XR and XS are compatible starting from iOS 14.5)
For compatible tickets (Metro-Train and Bus-Tram Tickets, Navigo Day passes, special fares), no account is needed, and you can pay directly with Apple Pay!
You can prepare and plan your travels:
- Find nearby bus stops, train stations, and metro stations
- Search for real-time public transport routes, car-sharing, and bicycle routes
- Save upcoming trips in your phone’s calendar
- Check the next departures for your lines in real-time and all the timetable information
- View maps of public transport networks (accessible even offline)
- Follow pedestrian routes for walking segment
Stay informed and anticipate disruptions:
- Check your lines’ Twitter feed for real-time traffic updates
- Get alerts for disruptions on your favorite lines and routes
- Stay updated on the status of elevators in the stations you use
Customize your travel:
- Save your destinations (work, home, gym, etc.), stations, and stops as favorites
- Customize your profile (fast walker, with difficulties, reduced mobility, etc.)
- Select lines or stations to avoid
Prefer soft or alternative modes of transport:
- Book car-sharing and/or ride-sharing trips in partnership with leading providers
- Opt for bicycle routes for all your trips
- Rent a car or a van for a short period by choosing a Communauto car-sharing vehicle from a wide selection of stations around you and book it immediately for the duration of your choice.

10 years ago I decided to go to Paris from Antarctica on foot. I was dying from Alzheimers and lived in an igloo. When I made it after 2 years of walking and I got kidnapped by the French mafia. They held me for years feeding me once every 2 months. Suddenly one day the police found me and shot me because they thought I was a criminal. Then the hospital the nurse hit me with an IV bag for 5 hours straight. Then I saw someone’s phone on the floor. Suddenly I burst through the roof and went to the heavens. I saw gods from all mythologies and they all bowed down to me because I owned the app. Now I rule the universe because of the app.

All I wanted was a 1 day pass in Paris. I tried to make an account with IDF, but it blocked me, saying my ip address was suspicious. I wasn’t using a VPN or anything, so not sure why. Next, I bought the pass without making an account, only putting my email address. It seemed to work, and it even charged me 12,30 euro. Then when I tried to load the Navigo pass into my Apple Wallet, the app crashed without adding the pass to my Apple Wallet!When I reopened the app, there was no way to recover the pass, even though I had been charged already. Also, even though I put my email address when purchasing, I didn’t receive any emails about my pass either. Finally, when I tried to request a refund within the app, it required me to login to an IDF account?! If you read the earlier half of this review, you will see that this whole disaster began because IDF wouldn’t let me make an account.Eventually, IDF did notice the Apple Waller failure, so I did get refunded, which is why my review is 2 stars not 1. Still these software issues are insane. I will use Bonjour RATP now.

Cannot create Account

Terrible experience. I cannot create account on the App and cannot submit support request since I do not have an account. How is it possible to contact Development team or Support Team in this case? I am located in USA. I submitted my inquiry to development Team via Apple App Store and week later [right before travel time] received below reply ‘Hello, to create an account, you must be on French territory and have a French phone number for security reasons. However, you can buy certain transport tickets without creating an account with the app. Thank you for your understanding and have a nice day, Maja from the Île-de-France Mobilités team."’. This is very frustrating as this explanation should exist as an Error message when someone trying to create an account. We already left Paris and used physical Navigo cards for travel needs instead of digital cards and this application. Time waisted to research this question was ~ 4 hours was completely waisted. Dev Team should think about User experience and implement such Error message / Warning in the Application. Very unfriendly.

I’m a semi-experienced traveler in Paris having gone to school here for a summer, and I wish this app would have been around then. Having the Navigo Easy Travel Card and this app gives the rider the ability to move flawlessly through the city. My only hiccup came when I went to purchase a faire to CDG from Saint Germaine and wouldn’t let me load it on the card: I was sent to a station for that paper ticket. The Easy Travel Card has some limitations (I wanted the RER not the bus). Although, hopefully when the Olympic Games happen next month, visitors will get more choices. Other than that, this app is a dream.

Hello, I understand your expectations. Dematerialised tickets will be available on iOS before the Olympic Games and the range of tickets will be expanded in the future. For the moment, the Navigo Easy pass doesn't allow you to travel anywhere in the Île-de-France region, but that's going to change too. Thank you for your encouraging comment and your understanding.
