I’ve been using GoodRx since it came out. Originally I was told by Walmart pharmacy (See below) that they won’t accept GoodRx and even a phone call from GoodRx, explaining to the pharmacist at Walmart, that they HAD to accept them due to a contract they had with Walmart, they still refused to accept the coupon codes. So I switched pharmacies and it’s been great since. I have several pets on long term medications and GoodRx has saved us a TON of money! I’ve even stood in lines waiting for prescriptions and told other customers about GRx. They were shocked and beyond grateful that they could save so much money with something they knew nothing about. So GoodRx gets an A+ from me! *Old Review: I was told today by a major pharmacy they are no longer accepting these coupons because they are not getting reimbursed for them. She said all pharmacies are aware of it and you'd be hard pressed to find one that will take them anymore. She said it's a scam (which I didn’t believe) and they lost tons of money before they finally caught on. She even had a post it note on the register saying "Don't accept Good Rx coupons anymore!" I was totally disappointed with the pharmacy because I spent many of hours going through each and every prescription my family has and writing down who had the best price. The prices are not correct either. A medicine that said the cash price was $135 was actually $169. She said the prices are not accurate nor guaranteed. Waste of time and energy, all for not. :(

I’ve used GoodRx for years. Amazing as it may sound, they have been around for a very long time. When I first heard about them Walmart was about the only Pharmacy that recognized them across the Board, no question, always price accepted. Walgreens, occasionally, but never a large price difference. Some they accepted, some they did not. I can’t even begin to tell you how many people, especially Seniors, I’ve helped. And, loads of them I don’t even know. I just knew how many people needed such help with prices. That so many people are literally going without Medicine, because their Income didn’t allow for them to buy food, pay for shelter, gas to get to Work…unfortunately, things are only going to get worse. I know, sorrowfully, what deciding not to get a life or death Medication filled. My Mom made that decision. It cost her life. I just wish there had been a GoodRx for her. I’ve actually helped people waiting in line for Rx pick-up! Last Point: GoodRx is actually better pricing, on some of my Meds, than my Medicare Part D Pricing! When I was picking a Carrier (I just became eligible in August) the Customer Service literally told me to continue using GoodRx on a couple of my Rx’s! You pricing is literally better than what the Government offers! Sorry this is by so long, so I’ll end with I’m the biggest Cheerleader, probably more than anybody, for GoodRx! On behalf of myself, & countless others I know, or don’t know, Thank You. Now I don’t have to make a decision that cost my Mom her Life. I get to do so much more than my Mom never got the opportunity to do.

I never write app reviews so that tells a lot by itself. My husband and I are huge GoodRx Fans! If you’re self pay...use GoodRx. Even if you have insurance and you have to wait on a prior authorization...look to see the price on GoodRx so you don’t have to wait, because GoodRx could make it affordable. If your insurance just simply won’t cover whatever your rx is and you think it’s impossible to afford it...get GoodRx Gold. I have insurance and still have GoodRx Gold. My husband doesn’t have insurance and he also uses GoodRx and GoodRx Gold. GoodRx is totally free to use and you usually save a nice chunk of change. GoodRx Gold is like $5.99 for individual plan and I believe $10 for a family plan. Chances are you will definitely save WAAAY MORE than the membership. The app is so easy to use. It’s free and navigating through the app is a breeze. You simply type in your medication, choose the dose, amount, etc... and you get told the prices of the local pharmacies. Once you sign up for the free GoodRx card (super fast process) you will auto automatically get a member card that you can pull up right on your phone to show the pharmacies. There’s even a card icon on the top of the screen when you open the GoodRx app. Just tap on it and your member card is ready to show the pharmacy. Also, I can easily text the men ever card to my husband when he’s picking up a prescription for me. GoodRx & GoodRx Gold is a huge blessing to my family on pretty much a weekly basis. Try it! You will love it. :)

I recently lost my job and with it my health insurance. I purchased cheap insurance so I would not get penalized at the end of the year, but when I went to fill one of my monthly scripts I was shocked to find I had no prescription coverage. When I walked away from the counter in a daze, unsure how I was going to make this work with the handful of pills I take every night. Suddenly, I remembered something I had heard of called GoodRx. I pulled it up on my phone and voila! Because of this app I am able to get my medication every month that I otherwise may not be able to. Not only that, but it has really opened my eyes to the difference in price from one pharmacy to the next. I always thought that prescriptions were the same (approx) at all pharmacies but this service proved otherwise. One script at my regular pharmacy was $35/pill so my insurance would only fill 4 at a time and I had to come back every 2 days as needed to refill. With goodRx I can get 12 remaining pills at another pharmacy for just $22!! It is amazing! Granted I have 3 scripts at 2 different pharmacies now bc I go where it is cheapest and one is at a different place, but it is worth it for all the saved money. So glad I remembered GoodRx and highly recommended it to anyone without prescription coverage! Even with coverage, sometimes copays and deductibles are so high it makes more sense to use GoodRx. Now you can’t use good Rx and your insurance at the same time, it’s one or the other, but in some cases good Rx is even cheaper than your prescription copay! So grateful!
