I tow boats travel, trailers, and drive a motorhome. Plus my main truck is a Dually.. I live in New England and travel to and thru NY state a lot where it’s really important for me to know where I can go and where I can’t especially low bridges. This app app really helps me do that. Also points of interest like truck stops. Rest areas is extremely helpful for timing stops and figuring where I can get fuel that I can fit into. The only thing it does not do that I really wish it would it interact with my CarPlay and screen on my 2024 ram. that would be so helpful. It works a little bit. It’s just that the whole screen doesn’t fit so you can’t see what’s upcoming. I have to look at my phone for that. Otherwise, it’s been very reliable for me. I drive from Maine to Louisiana several times a year and from Maine to Key West several times a year. Route options works well as I avoid DC and the GW always!!

I updated this app recently and since doing so, while using the app it will disappear from my screen when before the update it stayed on my screen consistently without fading into the background. Is there something I can do to change it back?

Sorry you are having difficulty. We have confirmed that Apple iOS 17 solves the issue of the screen going dark during navigation.Apple Settings > General > Software Update – scroll down to see if your phone is eligible for iOS 17. If the update does not appear yet then change your auto lock setting:Turn off Auto Lock, Under Apple Settings > Display & Brightness > Auto Lock > change to Never (just until you can get access to iOS 17).Whenever possible, please keep your phone plugged into a power source rather than running on battery, that will also solve the issue.

Ive been using this app for 4/5 years now. For the past three years, I haven’t even looked at my Garmin or RM. They’re in a bag underneath my bunk. This app does everything I need it to whenever I need it done. It has NEVER put me in a bad situation, ever! Sometimes I do have to make a personal decision to ride up another street or few miles to a better turn/situation simply because of what I’m hauling, not necessarily a fault in the app. Everything is not always on a flaw in gps system, if it told you to drive off of a cliff would you? For someone that does a lot of over dimensional & 60ft+ loads that’s saying a lot, to me at least. All in all it’s an amazing app, would recommend it to anyone. I’ve put a lot of food on the table for my family using this app, you will too.

App doesn’t stay awake since this morning on my iphone

The app was pretty useful and I used it since January 2021 but this morning while driving the screen just turn off after 30 seconds. It was not like that yesterday night. Usually when using any GPS app( google,waze or the iphone gps app) my iphone 13 pro max always stay on. After seeing that , I tried with waze and everything was ok, I tried with google map everything was fine but when the smart truck route app opens after 30 seconds the phone is lock. It has to be a problem from your app
