So this is the default online classified in UAE for me. Have sold many personal things through this. Overall the platform is good in terms of categories, product listing and traffic. The app on the other hand is another story. Two key issues. #1 - The chat function is very unreliable. Chats often update only after I open the app and go to the Chats tab. Sometimes they update to show Chats that were send hours earlier. Also I'm seeing a notification badge with 2 unread chats. And there is no way to know which chats are unread. I have tired reading all my chats one by one but the notification is still there. Also, for each incoming chat I get 3 ~ 4 emails informing me about the exact same chat. #2 - The 'my notifications' tab is not customizable, you have no control over what notifications they send and you cannot easily dismiss them. The app icon keeps showing me I have tons on notifications on this page and it's cumbersome to clear them. Please fix these issues and I will update with a 5 Star rating.
Unprofessional and sneaky

I paid for the assisted selling service offered by Dubizzle Cars (in Dubai) and scheduled an appointment for a car inspection. After the inspection I was told Mr (all important) Jawed would talk to me about the assessment report and car value. After waiting for around 30 mins (post my car inspection) Jawed rolls in and proceeds to advise that there is a policy that the car has to go on internal auction. Which is weird because no where was this “policy” mentioned when I signed up. Upon asking him what is this policy is and for an explanation, I seem to get a fair bit of “eye rolling” attitude from Jawed. Anyways I humoured him and asked him to advise the process. He said it will take no longer than 10 mins and that he would come back and advise the car value. Eventually those 10 mins were another 30 mins and when I finally managed to catch Jawed he said he doesn’t have the value as yet. I made my displeasure clear and told him I paid for the assisted selling and not for him to push his own agenda of trying the buy the car from me for “instant cash”. At this point he swiftly back pedalled and said we can proceed with the assisted selling. I also asked him for a copy of the assessment report (the inspection I paid for) which he asked me more money for. So all in all thanks to Mr Jawed, a horrible experience with Dubizzle cars Dubai. Firstly, aside from the 1 hour for the inspection I was waiting for another house. Second, he was unprofessional, borderline rude and had his own agenda and third was low balling. FYI I did manage to selling the car at the dealership at a price 10% than what Dubizzle (Jawed) said. Don’t recommend these guys at all.

Useless car inspections

Recently I bought a used car using dubizzle so I decided to let them do the inspection because I thought that it would be smart and professional to use their service , so I got their pdf test results mentioning pros and cons and the car rate was 7.9 over 10 so I decided to buy the car …after one month of driving my car started to gets heat problems so I took immediately to a service provider and I discovered that I have to change coolant, radiator, pips and other parts regarding heat cooling system !.Dubizzle inspection document didn’t mention any problems regarding heating system even that it was obvious there was a problem going back before I bought it , and when I told the service provider that I did a dubizzle inspection test he starts to laugh 😆 then he told me that it’s happening all the time because dubizzle inspection test is not serious so you can depend on it to take a decision to buy a car and the real problem is it’s more expensive than outside! The charge around 500 dh .So be aware guys and take your care to be scanned by any independent car geek out side ! And it’s cheaper .
Very Bad Service and application

(I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO WASTE THEIR MONEY AND POST AN ADD ON DUBBIZZLE ) I have been posting add from past few months and been facing the same issue every time. The application shows chats available but as I open the chat section inside the app there is no unread msg. So basically you are paying money and posting add to get proper enquirer and customer but dubizzle becomes a waste platform to do that because of their app issue. After contacting the customer service, which i have been doing since january until july after every add i post, they have only 1 answer - just uninstall and install the application again. But it doesn’t work even after doing that. What’s the point of losing those major customers those who have seen your add on the first time and tried to contact you and because of Dubizzle’s application issue we won’t be able to contact them anymore. Give a permanent solution for this issue. Once the time is passed then solution doesn’t help after paying so much every time.
