Customer care are not helpful. They just check and will tell you to wait till 5 days before receiving the orders then suddenly the order will be cancelled without contacting the customer.

Waited for a week then they cancelled the delivery due to unacceptable reason without even contacting the customer. So waste of time calling and spending my mobile credit without action from baby-shop side. Even emails, facebook they don't help.

Refund will take 15 days? Oh common return back my money asap! Worse experience ever!!!

Order delivered without assembly

Worst online shopping experience in UAE!!.
I have placed two orders recently, including essentials required for my new born. The order was placed on 31st october, and as of 8th November (after 9 days) the order is not delivered. They are giving wrong information about expected delivery date, which was mentioned as 2nd November in the app.
I have placed another order for a baby cradle, and the experience with this order was even worse. Babyshop has delivered the package in unassembled form and informed that the assembly needs to be done by myself. I am not an expert in furniture assembly, and I am not sure how safe it will be for the baby if I do the assembly by myself.
Any quality furniture shop in UAE will do free assembly if you order furnitures. I have opted for babyshop considering they are experienced, and will take care of safety requirements for babies.
However it was shocking realization that they are insensitive to the safety of babies and customer requirements. I don’t think any customer would want to try assembly of baby cradle, and go for a try taking the babies health on risk. I strongly recommend not to buy any products from them.

Expired/Unsealed Products

Bad experience and very disappointing service! It was the first time I used this app and they sent me expired products from Seventh Generation. If I haven’t checked, I wouldn’t have known and used it on the baby. When I called customer service, they will not replace the product and instead collect it again and refund. Refund takes ages and they will not even provide you with anything to compensate for their mistake. I ordered on 11 JAN 2020 and the expired item was collected on 12 JAN 2020. Up until now I haven’t received the refund.

Apart from the expired products, I also ordered Summer Infant swaddle wraps and Little Unicorn swaddle blankets. Both were in opened and unsealed packaging. The sticker seal is clearly tampered with and the items were not folded properly.

I have had better experience with other apps for baby stuff like Mumzworld, First Cry, and Sprii. Don’t waste your time here. If you need anything from Babyshop, go to the actual store and don’t order on this app.
