Convent and sneaky
U drive has been a very convenient app. It helped when you need to book a car quickly.
Just a few things though which I think it’s missing out on.
1: 15 minute reservation makes it challenging especially if you prefer a certain vehicle that’s only available in certain areas especially considering the traffic and time it may take to get to the vehicle. You can always re reserve so many times before getting suspended from reserving the same car. They do have an option to deliver the car to you (for more money). I guess that was their “helpful” solution?
2: the “flexible” “cheap” options they have aren’t all that cheap when you go over the mileage or acruit other fees such as parking, gas…. Etc
Just tell people up front what they will be paying for and leave it at that.
For the basic “full day” rental- you only get 100 KM of mileage if you book the car for a full day and if you go over the mileage you do get charged a small fee per mile.
100 KM doesn’t get you very far for a full day btw- esp if you factor in traffic and the detours you regularly end up going through when navigating through the construction in Dubai but I’m sure they know that. 🙂
Needless to say, I’ll be booking with other rental companies. It was not value for money. 💰

Worst service ever
just wanted to share my experience witch is really bad and disappointed
yesterday 14/July I was in DIFC and I wanted to take a car for a couple of rides, the nearest car was in Dubai Mall so I took a taxi and schedule my plans regarding this so I arrived at the location and i didn't find the car so I contacted your call center and I told them that I booked a car which is not at the location so he advised me to go to the mall security and give them the plate numbers to find the car I told him but you have to do that not me but I will do it coz I'm in harry, the mall security said that the car already not here and it's not showing on the cameras so I called the call center again and told him about that he said we will contact the last costumer and get back to in 2 minutes, he left me for 15 minutes again I called them again for the third time and every time i was telling the whole strory from beggining at the end the agent told me that we can't do anything about that!!!
I told him how come you left me for 15 minutes waiting for a reply he said maybe the agent was busy!!! seriously like I'm wasting his time or I want to chat with him not having an issue,
all my schedule missed up, I lost 45 minutes searching for that car which is already not exist
that was my last time using your service and I will never recommend it to anybody
Best customer service ever.
Udrive employees never failed me, whatever happens with me during , before or after renting their cars they always solve it even if it was a fault from my side , for example once I forgot to end the trip and i ended with almost 7 hours which I should’ve paid around 400 and i called them and explained what happened and they charged me only for the time i used the car which is 20 minutes and around 30 dirhams and many more situations, their employees are very respectful and sweet and they do care about their customers unlike their competitor EKAR where they never ever helped me with anything and they always charge people for every single thing a very big amounts + their employees are very rude and they dont try to solve anything for you , i think UDRIVE employees should go and teach them how to treat customers.
But i have one comment that udrive prices recently got a bit higher comparing to before i hope you go back to your old prices.
