From the time I placed my mobile order to the time it took me to receive my order, y'all I swear it was as fast if not faster than ordering in line!! How can I tell it was that fast you ask? Because I was literally in line behind 2 cars when I saw a poster about the app. Downloaded installed and now browsing the app, behind 1 car. Decided on the largest family meal they had and then saw a promotion for free chicken sandwich on orders over $10 which I believe is on app only. Press order and pay as I was pulling up to the intercom. Told them my name and that I just ordered from the app and not sure if it would show up yet. Before I could finish explaining why I would expect an order placed literally seconds ago would be posted already, he told me "ahh yes. Mr. Donnie Nguyen. We got your order. Please pull around". Both the app and the location deserved all the praises. Everything felt so fast and seamless. My order was piping hot and nothing's missing. I never left a review before. At least not on the app store. The times that I do leave any review it would be maybe once per year. If that. I'm so amazed that I had to write this review even before eating my order but I already know it's gonna be banging. Download the app and get y'all some chicken already.
Nothing but problems

Twice I have tried to use the app to order food. The first time I ordered the food, as nothing informed me to check e-mail for verification, I went to pickup my food. About 20 min. later I attempted to pickup my order only to be told there was no record of my order. As there was NO wifi available Popeyes, I could not show them my order. I had to drive about 1/4 mile to a McDonalds, use their wifi and take a screen shot of my order, return to the Popeyes and show them that I had made the order. Because Popeyes mandate you pay, by credit card, before you order can be processed, I could not just forget the order. Fortunately, the employee filled my order based on the screen shot I showed her. The second time I tried to order on line, the app indicated there was an error in my attempt to order food. Now, the error notice was posted after I entered my credit card information. Because of the error notice I went ahead and got food from another place. Later when I checked my emails, there was a notice from Popeyes that my food was ready for pickup. Now I had to enter my credit card information so I knew I was being charged for the food. The Popeye store is about 5 miles away, but I drove there and picked up the food we ate the next day. Normally we order pizza on line and pay when we pickup the food. If Popeyes were to do the same thing, I bet the problem would go away quickly. Makes me wonder why they charge the way they do. I would NEVER promote anyone to order Popeyes food on line.

I signed up for the Popeye’s Rewards and ordered online. There I was offered a FREE 6 piece wings with a $10 order. I ordered the 5 pc Chicken Tenders large meal so it totalled $18 and some change so I added that to my order. At checkout I was given a FREE desert, I think it was a carmel apple danish of some kind so I proceeded to check out. I tried to use my Apple Pay to place and secure my order. I then proceeded to the drive thru but as I drove up, I noticed that my order hadn’t been placed because somehow my payment wasn’t going through. Fortunately, the guy taking orders at the window was able to help me. He was so friendly, patient and helpful even when I started to feel anxiety because now there was a line behind me and I was the one holding it up. The drive thru guy told me not to worry and that the app was giving other people problems over the weekend. Since my Apple Pay wasn’t going through, I tried entering a credit card and finally it took. Antonio, the drive thru guy went above and beyond with helping me place this order and didn’t make me feel like a big dummy but was very easy going and gracious about the whole ordeal. Thank u so much, Antonio!!!!

I ordered by using the Popeyes App Received an acknowledgement that my order would be ready after 12:38 PM, Friday, July 7, 2023 I arrived at 12:45 PM At the drive through, I was informed that I would have to go inside the restaurant to get my App order There was 2 guest in front of me The attendant seemed to be doing the jobs of two people, none of them was to greet guest and their order It took at least 15 minutes to ask if those in line had a mobile order I was the only one that acknowledged They then had to search through the receipts to find my order I had two orders but they found one I showed them by phone with the orders and they made an excuse of which I wasn’t really interested in hearing since by this time, I was really tempted to canceling and going through corporate to explain the process I was involved just to get my mobile order I understand that many fast food have employment issues, but as I was watching while waiting, those that ordered by going through the drive through didn’t have a wait like I had Even the inside people who ordered to eat there had their order within a few minutes of ordering I didn’t raise my voice, in fact said very little while they searching through the receipts for my two orders When the order was fulfilled, the lady said to me, thanks for your patience I said thank you and left This isn’t what you wish to read about a recent visit but I felt is was necessary since I have never been asked to go inside to get a mobile order ordered on your Popeyes App
