This is the best marathon training app I’ve found so far! It’s way better than the Garmin Coach. It pushes me more than any other training I’ve ever done. I am using the app for my third marathon. The first two I used a generic training plan from online. I love how much the workouts are pushing me and increasing my speed and endurance. It’s something I never would have done without the app. I’m trying to do all my own self training just because a personal coach isn’t in my budget. This app is very reasonable for a year subscription and I’m only on week 4 but getting so much value out of it! I can’t wait to see what my marathon performance is after using it!! I can already feel that I’m significantly faster than I was just 4 weeks ago, training without any real conditioning/speed workouts or pace targets. Since having pace targets, my speed has changed immensely. The app is so easy to navigate. I love that I can switch around all my workouts to fit my schedule each week. I like the AI insights after each completed workout. I love that I can see all my workouts up until race day. I love that it does NOT adapt to my watch sleep/body battery. I know my body better than my watch does and that was my biggest complaint with the Garmin coach. This app allows me to do the workouts when I’m ready and recovered and constantly challenges me without being unachievable. I highly recommend!!! It’s the best marathon specific training app I’ve found so far!

I’m an ultrarunner and I have tried SO many diff training programs. There’s no shortage so how do you know which one(s) are good for you? Since each runner is different, I feel like each program fits uniquely. Some won’t work. For me, I needed specificity. I’m very type A and I want numbers. I want to know exactly what my training plan is. It’s how I do best. Runna gives me that. It takes into account your history and current fitness level as well as what your goals are. I put in my A race for this year and it created a program using all the info provided that is perfect for me! There are diff types of runs and each workout can be done outdoors or on the treadmill. If on the mill, it gives you speed and distance and shows you exactly where you are during the workout. You can also manually add workouts. The plan is so spot on that other races that I am running prior to my A race fit right into the plan for miles. I have my own strength training program but Runna also offers strength and flexibility training to compliment your running and give you a well balanced training regiment. I started with the free version but easily made the choice to go to the paid version. I feel it’s well worth it for the benefits I am getting. I feel well prepared for my events and I can see progress over the weeks. This will be an app that I keep past my race this year and will continue to use for other races. My running is part of who I am and Runna helps me get the most out of it. I enjoy this app so much and highly recommend it. 👍🏻👍🏻

I am so grateful for Runna!! I just finished my first half marathon today and my time was 1:55, which was at the lower end of my predicted race time :) I love not having to think about how to construct my tempo and interval runs, and the flexibility of the app (being able to update your current race times to update your pace targets, and to move workouts around) is great. As I've learned more about running I have sometimes adapted Runna's suggestions, which includes adding in a couple of easy cycling sessions a week to increase my overall aerobic volume and get closer to an 80/20 easy/hard split (running 5 days/30 miles a week Runna's suggestions are typically closer to a 70/30 or 60/40 split). To that end I would love if Runna could incorporate an ability to add cross-training workouts to your weekly plan, and if they could add a feature where you could see your weekly easy/moderate/hard breakdown by projected time. It would also be cool to be able to see a graph showing how your planned volume changes over the course of a training plan. Would also appreciate a negative split race timing feature! But other than those tiny things, I love everything about Runna and can't wait to use it to train for races in the future!!(Customer service has been great, also. And it works super well with my Suunto Race S watch!)
