Ratings and Reviews
Overall convenient and includes stickers
We did have an issue where prescriptions were marked delivered when they had not been and it was a bit frustrating having to wait to get it resolved. I was really worried bc the meds were controlled substances and I knew it would be hard to get a new prescription for them. HOWEVER, I had a call from the pharmacist the next day, which was a Sunday and she was very apologetic and promised me she would contact my doctor and insurance to have the prescriptions transferred to Walgreens. There was no need because what looked like my neighbor dropped them off so they must have accidentally been delivered to the wrong house. That happens a lot with Uber eats and door dash so really it’s not that out of the realm of possibilities. I would only suggest making sure you give yourself a few days just in case there is an issue so you don’t go without your medication. These things can happen, I’ve often received packages that weren’t mine. Despite this little hiccup, I still rated them a 5 star because the issue was resolved within 24 hours and they included stickers in the bag which my 2 year old loved!!
Seriously great
No offense to Rite Aid, but waiting in line to find out they don't have your med in stock really blows, as does waiting until next week for them to get their shipment. Capsule is probably the only time I've seen an ad in the subway for some service startup that actually turned out to be as great as they say they are. Simply being able to track my scripts and refills in an app is useful, and I love that I get a notification right away when Capsule receives the script from my doc. But the cherry on top is the totally reliable delivery service THAT IS FREE. They offer 2-hour windows until 10 pm and if I need something fast there is always a window available withing the next few hours. Oh and also you can text them with questions or changes or whatever, and they get back to you promptly with helpful and friendly answers. I have no affiliation with Capsule and I almost never write reviews, but Capsule is so great that I want to help make sure they never go out of business!! Once you go Capsule, you'll never go back
Incompetent and unethical
Last month their app went down for a day. After spending two days trying to get my meds refilled (I have heart disease and can NOT go without my medication.) I requested that they just transfer ALL OF my prescriptions to Rite Aid and made it explicitly clear I never wanted to do business with them ever again. A week later I get a text from them saying my refills were ready, refills I’d already had sent to rite aid. Another few hours on the phone and texting to make sure they understood ALL of my refills were transferred and that they had not billed my insurance. Now just today they send me another text saying my refills are ready. When I asked them why they still had any refills, they lied and said you can only send one fill at a time, they can’t transfer all at once. Which is completely not true, and proof of which is that they HAD sent all refills for three of my meds. When I called out this lie they claimed I never specified that I wanted all of my refills transferred, so I sent them screenshots of last month’s texts where I specified that I wanted EVERYTHING transferred and do not want to do business with them EVER AGAIN.
How can you trust any pharmacist that screws up your prescription EVERY MONTH and then lies to you about it?
