No customer support, cant choose tip amount

I used to pick up whole beans along with my order. The main reason to go to philz coffee. But Im not going to pay $4 for them to move the bag of beans to the counter. I used to select $1, but now they won’t let you, so I have to put no tip. How dumb.One time I made an order over the phone from my home, only to discover that the store was completely inaccessible due to road blocks from a marathon. I drove around for half an hour before giving up. I emailed them immediately just to get an automated response that they received my order. Days later they still have not responded. I’ve tried calling customer support, but no one answers and the answering machine is just a message that the mail box is full. I’ve finally filed a dispute with my bank after, but I’ve already had a considerable amount of my time wasted.This is a failure on multiple levels, but starting with the app, which should have not accepted an order for an inaccessible store.

The format of the app is too “fancy” and not super user friendly. I see what they’re trying to do, but it’s super unnecessary and makes ordering drinks take too many steps. Also wait times are way too long for a cup of coffee.

Constant re-login, connection loss

Thinkstorm
Every second time I start the app, I have to re-log in. It loses my orders. While I'm using the app, the connection gets lost. I'm getting bumped with offers I'm not interested in. Just before I want to click on any offer, there is a pop-up screen. The menu locations are constantly changing. And the whole user experience of the app is just pushing a tiramisu cold brew latte and other atrocious things that I'm not interested in. I just want coffee. And not 20 windows I have to click away before I can finally order. You're not doing a service to the local franchise coffee shop that I very much like.

i think this app would be so much more successful if they worked on a few things. 1, there is no way to consolidate gift cards. starbucks and peets coffee to this… it’s crazy i have like 5 gift cards with $3-5 dollar balances totaling to about $15. but if I want to pay for coffee, i need to use one gift card balance and pay the rest with my own money. I want to use my gift cards!!! 2, the way you add gift cards has been super buggy and not working. i hate that im gonna have to order in person and make the barista type it in manually!
