AV Remote is a simple remote that lets you control any recent Marantz or Denon AV receiver. There is an on/off button, volume controls, and three volume presets. That's it! If your receiver supports HEOS (Home Entertainment Operating System) then AV Remote should be able to automatically detect the device and let you control it. It's designed to work well with the Apple TV and its remote and app.

I have a Marantz receiver and sometimes want to use a phone app to change the volume. The Marantz-provided iPhone app is janky and glitchy. This one works; recognized my receiver in seconds and was immediately usable

Works exactly as advertised and is so, so much faster than the Denon app. Having the presets is amazing and it works from surprisingly far away. I use this all the time now.

I use AV Remote every single day! My Denon doesn’t show any UI on my 4k TV and it’s hidden in a cabinet, so this is literally the only way for me to know the numeric volume level. Such a simple but useful app.
