The Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC) is excited to announce the launch of the DART Transit App. The free app provides access to real-time bus information, DART Pass mobile payment option, along with trip planning and several other features, including: Real-time bus information DART Pass mobile payment Bus stops by route and location Trip Planner plus the ability to save Favorite Trips Rider Alerts Easy access to navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen Preview of Routes Nearby Press Releases Contact Us Paratransit customers can view today’s trips as well as future trips. When a trip is active, the Paratransit customer can track the bus to see when it will arrive. DART riders can get real-time bus information, receive Rider Alerts, and pay their fare conveniently from their phone. This new app is a great example of our ongoing efforts to improve the customer experience. Now the DART Transit app will provide DART Connect customers with the following improvements: · Enhanced mapping system for more accurate pick-up/drop-off locations · Shorter walking distances · Ability to schedule trips up to two (2) days in advance · New tabs to see upcoming trips · New “Rate My Ride” feature · Request recurring trip(s) · Link to DART Pass mobile fare payment · Now access all three DART services in one app Fixed Route Bus, Paratransit, and DART Connect!

App won’t show what time my morning bus is coming at

The last 2 days, the DART Transit app hasn’t been showing me what time my morning bus is coming at, but it does show me what time my return bus is coming at after work. Because of this, I have to keep on calling DART to ask them where my morning bus is. Please fix this, DART.

Not working and bad design

Trip planner function causes app to crash on my iPhone 5s with iOS v.12.0.1. So that makes the app basically useless. It’s also ridiculous that the bus schedules and trip planner are not integrated into the Dart Pass app where you buy the tickets. Why should there be two apps for what is one activity (find a route and buy access to it)? In fact if you click the button on the Dart Pass for real time bus info it takes you to the DelDot app when it should take you to this one. So, bad planning all around. If the programmers want some inspiration for what a good public transit app should look like I can recommend the Skånetrafiken app from southern Sweden which is flawless.

Im updating my review as there has been maintence done to the app! It no longer crashes for me. To answer the developers question my phone is an Iphone7. I have no issues using the app now and can find the bus routes I need to get to work! Thank you for such a helpful app!

This is the most unreliable and cumbersome app I have ever used. And worse is you don’t get an error pop up so you think you must be doing something wrong. None of the bonus features have ever worked but at least I could use trip planner. Until the last week. It just comes back that there are no buses . The other app doesn’t work either.
