more I’ve had this on my Apple TV for years now, and I’ve never bought any of their extra scenes nor paid for a subscription. We turn on music, set one of the two free fires on the screen, light some campfire scented incense and… Boom. Good enough. We’ve had hours of ambiance with just the free fires. If I were to ever buy access to one of the other fires, it would simply be because I’d want to throw a couple bucks at the developer as a thank you for the years of enjoyment. I don’t really need the other ones. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the latest update to the app has been persistent about reminding me that I haven’t bought anything. There’s a lot of pop-ups trying to prompt me to pay for the subscription lately. It really pulls us away from the experience. 🤷🏻♂️ Then again, it hasn’t been so annoying that I feel compelled to find a different fireplace app.

I really do like this app. For a fireplace on a phone screen it's pretty realistic looking. I'm sad though because I have no sound. At first, I thought it might be an issue with my phone but I have sound on other things. Overall though, very worth the download and even worth spending the money for the other scenes.

For some reason the apps plays the exact same sound for the different fires even though depending on what’s being burned and how much will change the sound. An example is the gas fire would not make the sharp crackling sounds they use on everything. But the videos are pretty cool and you can get them for cheep so it’s kinda nice I’m just glad it’s not over priced. I got like 12 different ones for like $2. Also some of the videos could be better quality the blue fire is cool but not very bright.

Ouija Board loops in an obvious way. How difficult would it have been to design it so that the video ends on the same spot so that it wasn’t possible to see where the video started and ended? This was lazy. It’s stupid that the app doesn’t allow family sharing. This means that if you’re logged into a different person on the SAME APPLE TV as where you purchased the app, this app doesn’t work and asks you to buy it again.
Developer Response Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate your insights on the video loop and the suggestion about Family Sharing. I’m always working to enhance the app experience and will keep your comments in mind as I continue to develop new content and features. If there’s anything else you’d like to share, please feel free to reach out.
