I updated my app to the recent version which indicated that there was a firmware upgrade. My notifications haven’t been working for a while but I knew the feeder was still dispensing so I had hoped this update would resolve that. This morning, I noticed the bowl was completely empty of food which is unusual. I opened the app to find that its offline. The power button is on and the Link light is flashing, which according to the user guide is normal. I found and connected to the Petwant WiFi on my iPhone so it’s not related to internet strength. It has to have been caused by this update as it had been dispensing successfully at each interval prior to that.

I really liked this feeder and I bought it in 2017 and it actually worked fairly well for the whole time. I needed to reset a couple of times, but so appreciated being able to feed my cat with a press of the button on my phone. It was easy to maintain and while there are grammatical errors of translation in the directions and in the app, which sometimes make it hard to understand, the device worked fine. However, now I can’t connect the device no matter what I do or reset so I’m thinking I might have to buy another device, which is a bummer.

I don’t think they are keeping up with this anymore. No more connecting. The feeder itself turns on and “works” just doesn’t function since this app doesn’t work.. Bought this feeder in 2016 worked well now it’s just useless… sham they couldn’t even let us know. Tried contacting support, never hear from them.

I rely on the camera and automatic feeding function to properly work when I’m not home or at work. Lately the camera function has not been working despite the app being updated and internet being checked. Please fix these errors!! After paying this much for an automatic feeder, all of the functions should work properly!
