The easiest hydration habit: no bottles to log, no ounces to count. Just tap when you pee and get smart water reminders.
P is a water reminder for iPhone and Apple Watch that doesn’t make you log every glass. You log a bathroom visit in seconds, and P reminds you to drink water when it’s been a while. P tracks output, not intake: peer-reviewed studies support 24-hour pee frequency as a practical hydration indicator in healthy adults.
P also works as a bladder diary to track how often you pee: log each bathroom visit from your iPhone or Apple Watch, add notes, and keep a record to discuss with your doctor.
It’s great for Apple Watch or as a Lock Screen Widget, and not as complicated as a water tracker. Who wants to use an annoying, complicated water tracker to drink water? Up your hydration game with this app!
Try it out, and see how this drink water reminder app can keep you aware of your body.

If you’ve ever had a UTI or kidney stones, you know how important it is to drink water. Hydration is so important! There can be many benefits of drinking water, like weight loss, healthy skin, mental clarity, and much more. Dehydration can hold you back from being your best self.
Now it’s easy to know when it’s water time. This hydration app gets you in tune with your body, especially when you need to drink water most.
P is like a fitness game, taking the water tracker concept and turning it around, so you don’t need to track water intake. It’s a much simpler free water drinking reminder app.
Don’t break that streak! You can even see where you stack up against the streaks of other users on the Leaderboard.
Even though P is designed to help you drink water as a hydration app and water drinking reminder app, you may also want to use it as a simple pee tracker or bathroom tracker. With volume tracking, P supports proper voiding diaries that medical providers request. This can be helpful for tracking data related to prostate conditions, bladder conditions, avoiding UTIs, avoiding kidney stones, and more.
Remember, this is not a water tracker! There is no way to record when you drink water, or how much water you drink. Instead, it’s a hydration app based on how often you pee!
Join the many happy users who have used P to drink water and monitor their hydration based on how often they pee instead of a water tracker!

I think I discovered this app in 2017 when I was experiencing some issues with my prostate. At that time, I wanted to track the duration between my bathroom breaks, which the app incredibly helped with. I have an on-and-off relationship with the app because sometimes I didn't need it. Well, I got tired of logging pees every 40 minutes or so; so I stopped. However, as my prostate issue came back and I just had prostate surgery, so I decided to give the app another "full-time" go to help me track the time duration between my bathroom breaks. I even subscribed to John's fancy subscriber options (which are amazing, by the way). It's true that this app is designed for hydration reminders, but it's been incredibly useful for me as a prostate issue tracking app. Before my surgery, I would need to go every 30-45 minutes, but now the app shows me that I can wait for at least 2 2 1/2 hours or more. I feel much better, but I still use John's amazing app to keep me updated with my "new" prostate. I'm forever grateful to John and his P app. Even though I didn't use it regularly over the last 5 years, I have logged every visit to the bathroom since my surgery. Thanks a bunch, John! Yes, you are the best.

Wow, thank you so much for this incredible, detailed review! I'm so happy to hear about how you use the app, and that you find it so useful now after surgery. Knowing that people use it as a pee tracker than a water reminder helps me as I consider future features and the development roadmap.
Just what I was looking for

I’ve been looking for an app that would allow me to track my urine output. seems in my mind I pretty much live in the bathroom. I have what’s known as a lazy bladder and I pee all the time. Now that I’m closely reaching 62 and diabetes is something of a family concern, I thought this app could help me determine if I pee more after consuming coffee/caffeine, water or if it’s due to an underlying and undiagnosed medical issue. I’m also not a huge fan of drinking plain water but I know it’s a must for a healthy life, so I do like the water reminder (however since I pretty much pee every 30-40 minutes, the water reminder doesn’t go off that often). I also love that this syncs with my Apple Watch and tracks my handwashing. I’m very impressed with the app and the response by the developer when I had a question. I think for my purposes (adding notes during each visit to the bathroom- or what I drank before- will help me determine how much or how little I pee) it’s worth the annual subscription.

Thank you so much for the nice review! I’m so happy you find the app so valuable! It gives me a lot of motivation to keep improving it. I may add a setting that removes the “drink water” language for people who are using it as more of a pee tracker.
Great for tracking things other than water…

The truth is, I am an adult male who has a bladder of the size of a chipmunks. In Mason years, I’ve been struggling with frequent urination. The ability to have an app that allows me to easily track how often I pee, and then export a spreadsheet I can provide to my doctor has been incredibly helpful. The watch compilation is especially helpful. I wear my Apple Watch 23 hours a day, simply charging it for around an hour at dinner time. Overnight I benefit from sleep tracking, waking up to my alarm, which is a light tap on my wrist from my watch (much nicer than a blaring sound), AND I have the PNC compilation right on the home screen to my watch. When I get up a couple times during the night, I simply tap the face of my watch and choose log pee. It only takes about a second. Such a tiny level of effort provides me very detailed data on how frequently I’m urinating which my doctor can use to help assess me.

All of my data has been restored :D UPDATE: The developer is on top of trying to restore my data. He is so dedicated to making this a great app so if you have any problems just let him know and I’m sure he’ll do whatever he can to fix it. This app has been exactly what I needed in a urination tracking app and the loss of data was unfortunate, but I’m confident the developer is doing everything he can to restore it and to keep it from happening to anyone else. I’ll definitely continue to use this app. The app is fully functional and i like all of the features it has, today all of my logs were deleted after the update. The only logs that were kept were today’s which is unfortunate because I had over 100 pees logged and a 22 day streak. But if you don’t care about that kind of stuff then the app will do exactly what you need it to do which is ultimately remind you to drink water when you haven’t peed in a certain amount of time.

Hi, I'm really sorry about your lost data! I take data loss very seriously with this app because I know people count on it. This update changed a lot of things in the background, and I tested a lot before releasing it, but it turns out there have been some issues. I'm working to resolve them going forward. The good news is your data is probably still in iCloud somewhere, and I hope to restore it in a future update. Please continue using the app normally, and I will keep working on an update that will attempt to restore your data. If you email me at peeandsee@ganotis.com I can discuss this with you more, or answer any other questions you have. Sorry to disappoint!!!
iPhone Duo: Layouts adapt to both displays.
Friends: Fixed reminders that could fail to send to some friends.
Logging: Fixed Undo when you log again while a confirmation is showing.
Reliability: Fixed a crash at launch on iOS 18 and other fixes.
