We loved the Lavendel house! It was the perfect getaway. The speakeasy room is a wonderful place to just sit and relax. The hot tub felt great with the cooler nights! Everything was user friendly and comfy! Would definitely stay here again and again!
Very expensive, lots of hidden costs

We were looking for something for Father’s Day, as an alternative to airbnb. We found a bunch of places on here that were advertising 125$ a night, etc so I got my gal all excited and let her pick a few. Then when I went to pay for something that was supposed to be $260 for two nights at a little cabin an hour from us out in the woods the final cost turned out to be 900$Thought it might be a fluke so I checked several other “low cost” stays, all of which turned out to be almost 1000$ when I got to the final payment screen.I wasted like 3 hours looking and got my gal really upset by getting her hopes up. Ended up using airbnb instead. Pretty upsetting. I’ll be deleting this app.

Map View Useless, makes app useless to me. Pity

The whole point of the map view is to click on the property you want to see. But the app doesn’t work that way. It doesn’t event highlight the property on the map when you select it or the compare option in the results list. Basically your only option is to shop by photo and look at the location AFTER wasting your time finding its in the wrong part of town you want to stay. Personally, it renders the whole app nearly useless for me.

Terrible Customer Service

Booked for the first time, there was an error in the email although logged into my account on the app somehow the reservation was put under the erroneous email. Tried to call nobody answered the phone. Sent emails and they took days to respond if they ever responded. Going on over a month now past the reservation date and the original reservation. I still can’t get any help. Had to pay for another hotel because I could not get in contact with HomesToGo and Expedia wouldn’t help although the hotel said they received the booking through Expedia. It has been a nightmare of a time to deal with especially while trying to host family visiting us at our base overseas to see our newborn. Numerous emails AND calls 30+ days still no help, resolution, or response. WILL NOT BE USING THIS APP HOMESTOGO OR EXPEDIA EVER AGAIN. Cannot recommend to enough people NOT to use them.
