The continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
While enjoying POPGuide outdoors, it will first track your current location then navigate you to the POIs of your choice. To avoid unnecessary GPS tracking draining your battery, make sure that you disable the location function of your device whenever appropriate.
I love this app. When I’m vacationing with my wife around Europe. It makes it simple and easy to use whenever we are at some amazing landmarks.
Versailles - don’t bother

We bought our tickets and the audio tour for Versailles from POPGuide. It was a mistake. I was emailed a link the day before and found the POPGuide almost impossible to download (3 tries for each of us). We also had one kid without their own device, so we ended up paying for more audio tours than we could use (had to get our tickets together). Once we got into Versailles I was disappointed to learn that there were huge areas without any info in the audio guide. I spent quite a lot of time trying to figure out what to listen to before realizing there was no info for nearly the entire ground floor.There are audio tours for rent by the museum, which would have been a better choice. Definitely skip this and go with either a human guide or the one available from Versailles.

Purchased tickets and audio guide for the Louvre. Could not load the ap with the link provided on the confirmation email. It wants you to sign in and create a pass…for a one time tour? Others in our group got the app to work but the audio was off and not synced to the actual exhibit. Extremely disappointed. Not worth the hassle. Also, those of us with time slot prepaid tickets waited in line while others just purchased tickets and walked in. No wait.🤷♀️
It worth it. Buy the museum audio guide.

We paid quite a bit of money for tickets and access to this guide to the Prado museum. When we got it. It was really hard to figure out where things were and the numbers did not match the numbers in the museum. Beside it only had a few paintings and the descriptions were short and vague. We wound up buying the museums audio guide for 5 euro which was MUCH better and easier to use.
