I played the trial for the first zombie exodus and never really got into it but THIS GAME IS AMAZING! I love it! The customization of your character is awesome. I love that instead of just picking a predetermined main character, you can play with the stats and make whoever you want. The characters feel like real people. They make you feel like your in the game, instead of just doing what I wanted my guy to do, I found myself doing what I would do in the situation. The flaws were a really cool touch. I LOVED having my dog with me, wish there would have been more breeds to choose from and you could choose the sex of the dog. I could deal with my pit bull being a German Shepherd but every time they referred to her as “he” it kinda broke the immersion for me for a second, but only for a second. Would also be cool if you could name another person (have my wife or one of my cousins with me) and pick your state (instead of just being in Colorado(?) but I know that’s a lot of work with different climates, just some ideas for maybe another game? Only thing that disappointed me was that I felt like all the points I put into survival didn’t matter in part one. I was expecting to get to build a shelter, hunt, trap and hopefully fish a little bit (if I can find/craft a fishing pole) to help feed my group. I did get a squirrel but never got a chance to eat it. I’m sure all of that is coming in part two if it ever comes out. Even if it isn’t, I’ll still buy it. Well worth another $5-10. Hopefully it is still coming out, please don’t leave us hanging.
My Favorite Choice-Of Game Thus Far

I’ve been playing Choice-Of games for years, and when they started out, they were simpler in writing, but very fun. As time has gone on, the writing has gotten better, the stories have become much more in-depth, and they’ve also gotten more expensive (though maybe inflation has helped that, too). Anyway, my top favorites are the “Heroes Rise” trilogy, “To the City of the Clouds,” “Choice of the Star Captain,” “Broadsides,” and “Choice of the Vampire.” Since this one has come out, I find it to be the most entertaining, engaging, and re-playable. It has quickly shot to my number one favorite spot. The writing is excellent, in my opinion (with only a few errors here and there, but very few), and the choices you choose really seem to make the story different each time. Mostly though, I just like scavenging for resources and killing zombies. I’ve played through this one about a dozen or so times now, and I just can’t get enough. As of this review, there are only parts 1 & 2, and I can’t wait until the rest of it is finished!
The characters are weird, but the story is just…idk.

I played the game numerous of times, it’s really good. Don’t get me wrong, but the characters are just having some sort of evil inner person or manipulative, etc. like Madison just develops into a cold-blooded killer, and Gina just shoots her own friend George because of her husband and decided to join a group for possibly a evil plan. And Rachel does not seem to have any character development after part 2, like she still seems she’s hiding more of herself sort of, and Jillian is just a terrible survivor. I think the game that will continue in part 4 will be the group’s down fall, and the main character only survives. Like the walking dead season 2, and on part 1. Where everybody is out for each other’s throats for no reason, and acting on stupidity. To be honest, I’m not sure if the game is just all about teamwork. Or just to show something else, before I thought it was really good. But now…it’s off because of how everyone acted on part 2 and 3.

I like this game, it’s like an rpg text survival adventure kinda thing. But it would be nice for quality of life if you let us pick things better. Like when choosing stats, it only let’s me add up to 20 at a time which is kinda annoying when I wanna do all my stats at the beginning. Also, when I was stealing all the items from thelma’s store, I took everything from the whole store and rammed my way out with all of it. Probably shouldn’t be a thing to do that, especially since all I had was a bike to escape with the whole store on my back + nephew + cat. But also it was kinda inconvenient to slowly pick out everything since the picking option is like 5 at a time max. So improve quality of life would be nice and also therr are still ridiculous things ingame like stealing a whole store of items and biking away with all of it + nephew + cat.
