The Tempdrop app is designed to complement the Tempdrop device - a personalized user-specific thermometer that captures minute temperature variations throughout the night to pinpoint the basal body temperature. Detected variations in temperature correlate with hormonal fluctuations throughout the menstrual cycle. When used with the Tempdrop device, this app can help users to pinpoint ovulation and effectively track and predict the varying phases of the cycle.

This app is the best I’ve used. I only have one complaint, and its that other apps have much better symptom tracking. I would love if there were more symptoms that we could track. There should be a giant list of symptoms that we can pick from that we may experience to be featured on our homepage. AND we could pick what symptoms we want featured on our cycle tracking! I personally don’t have headache or bloating issues, but I do get insatiably hungry around my ovulating stage and I would love to track that. Every woman has unique needs, and I don’t need to have pregnancy testing displayed on my tracking page either. If I could pick what to track on the cycle overview then I would have a personalized accurate overview of MY cycle. The more symptoms that are available, the more relatable this app is for each woman that uses it. Some women want to prepare for pregnancy, others want to track their irregular periods and some may want to track their menopause. And that’s the point right? More symptom options give us a better picture of what our unique bodies are experiencing on a monthly basis.
5/5 for the TD device, 4/5 for the app

After recently getting married, I decided to come off the HBC that I had been on for the last 15 years to prepare my body to get pregnant. I was diagnosed with PCOS early on in my youth and didn’t know what to expect from my body. My sister, who had been a FAM user for years, bought me a TempDrop as a wedding gift and after the first night of using it, I was hooked.I’ve only ever had one issue with the device which was a glitch, I think. Tech support was right there waiting to assist but the glitch corrected itself and I had no further issues and didn’t need tech support. The device itself takes a little getting used to as you do sleep with it on your arm but I never had an issue sleeping comfortably with it. The app itself I give 4/5 stars. I love the aesthetic of other apps and the TempDrop app just isn’t there, yet. The TempDrop team is working hard to take user advice and make changes and I’m excited for the new updates rolling out soon. I would like to see more options (custom data, CM, cervix position, etc) but navigation and selections are pretty good so far. I have faith that they’re hearing the user community and will continue to roll out new features the users have on their wishlists.
The app is horrible. Input in Premom if you temp

For such an expensive device, the app is horrible. It says my cycles are 82 days long and I ovulate on the 6x day! I got the temp drop originally to track my period coming back after pregnancy... because that is one of the uses listed. So I originally put in a dummy period because the app REQUIRED a period to be input. I’ve tried to go back an change it all. But nope. It’s stuck. And that is the worst part. Your temperature should be the heaviest weight in their algorithm for predicting your cycle. It’s not... it doesn’t even really register. They put all their weight on your period start date making this app a glorified period tracker. Most good fertility apps don’t require a period, they just say they can’t give you exact data till you put one in. Well now that I’ve had my cycle back for 6 cycles... I’m trying to get pregnant again and this app is completely useless other than recording temps from my Tempdrop ... and then they want me to pay an exorbitant amount to get “premium features”. So don’t waste your money for the premium app. I’d wait another year for them to get the normal app figured out first and to figure out their predictive algorithm better. It is still in its infancy anyway.Premom is free and excellent for temperature tracking! I put in the same dummy period and it knew exactly when I was about to ovulate the first time after a free months based on my temperatures and it even figured out my next cycle quickly without me needed to adjust any information. The Tempdrop app is a joke.
Great for BBT, not much else

The device itself is worth it for me. Not having to mess around with an oral thermometer first thing when I wake up and getting good data despite a weird sleep schedule is priceless. I also like that it isn’t emitting Bluetooth all night, just when I sync it. However, I’ve only had it a month and I just got a replace battery notice. I’m assuming this is a one time glitch but if the new battery doesn’t last the promised 6+ months I’ll be changing my review. If you’re hoping to chart anything more than BBT and cervical fluid in app you will be disappointed. Between the very limited options and the cluttered way it’s displayed below the graph, the symptom tracking is basically unusable. There are also too many pop ups prompting me to upgrade.I saw some negative reviews about the app not predicting your cycle phases and fertile days but in my view that is a plus. I specifically chose tempdrop because I would rather read my own chart than trust an algorithm to do it. If you don’t understand how to do it yourself you shouldn’t be using a sympto-thermal method of birth control.
Fresh Design: New home screen featuring a symptom carousel.
Health Sync: Import/Export ovulation tests with Apple Health.
Bug Fixes: General improvements and performance tweaks.
