Features:
- Add/remove/mute subreddits or users at any time to start/stop seeing notifications
- No need to login or link your reddit account - you can set up alerts for any public subreddit or user.
- Setup up to 3 alerts of your choosing for free; upgrade to Premium to receive notifications for more than 3 subreddits/users.
- Set the notification frequency for each subreddit: "Trending: More" if you want notifications for all hot posts, "Trending: Fewer" if you only want breaking news, or "All" to get notified for all new posts. I long searched for a way to have as close to possible up to the minute alerts on new postings on certain subs or Reddit. I’ve tried IFTTT. I’ve tried Hooks. I’ve even tried the push notifications from the third-party apps I’ve been using or testing. Alerts for Reddit has surely been the best thing yet for me. Had tested it out for a few days and immediately purchased the premium a while back. And today I get an a update to follow threaded conversations and had absolutely had to write this review. Love this app. Would love such an app for Twitter notifications as it would allow me to use third party twitter clients vs the official app. Would also love a Siri Shortcut or 3D Touch action to quickly add a sub or user to follow. Either way.... 5 stars from me.
Insanely useful for sniping deals in the Swap subreddits

I’m a perfume fan and primarily use Alerts to look out for new posts of rarer fragrances I want for my collection. Alerts is a godsend for spotting posts of deals before the rest of the herd. It’s also great for keeping track of posts related to my profession, and news about specific people and events.Easy 5 stars. Wouldn’t want to Reddit without it now.
You can finally exclude keywords!

I love this app. It’s simple, easy to use, and it does what it says it will do. I use it to monitor buy/sell/trade subreddits and have gotten some awesome deals thanks to these alerts. Now that the latest update added the ability to exclude specific words from your search, I can finally give this a solid five stars. Highly recommend it!
I almost never write reviews but I had to write this one
Th3Sizzle
I didn’t realize just how important this app has become to me (an admitted Reddit junkie) until today when I stopped receiving notifications. Wrote a quick note to the developer and they had the issue sorted super quickly! Support them and buy premium if you can it’s 100% worth it!
- Several improvements to the Recent Notifications page, including: listing which keyword (if any) triggered a notification; allowing text search to find specific recent notifications; and the ability share a link to a Reddit post directly from the Recents page.
- Added more Premium Speed information for people who subscribe to certain popular, fast-moving subreddits.
- Various small improvements, including general iPad UI, and improving the 'add keyword' button.
- See r/alerts_for_reddit for more detailed information about what's new!
