I was given two days notice for a trip from NYC to Madrid and Barcelona with little time to plan. The morning of the flight I found Tiqets and made two of the three appointments for Madrid Reina Sofia and Madrid Prado, all to be used writhin 24 hrs so I selected the cheapest non refundable, regular option, last two days of August, crowds were not too big. The tickets worked great, I appreciated accepting the alerts, the reminders were excellent and the follow up texts and emails were great customer service, engagement marketing etc. Bravo. The third ticket I made for Sagrada Familia with a tour guide was a week away, so via Tiqets I was given the option to cancel and refund up to two days prior. We kept the ticket because by that point all other options for tours in my language were unavailable. After all it went very well, great visit, extremely crowded so the tour was helpful. When all was done I looked at the App Store and was surprised to see many upset comments and after some time realize the legitimate complaints age one thing only: cost. It appears I paid 50% or double against what I could have paid using each site’s app, but considering I needed an ‘all-in-one’ last minute option and I found the cost acceptable when I first found them, and considering the ‘high touch’ customer service process of Tiqets via their emails and texts along my trip which all enhanced my visits, I find their costs totally acceptable, even if others might consider their rates scalping. I would use Tiqets again but hopefully will have more time to shop against the museum ticket price, but then I would lose the excellent countdown alerts and visit enhancements.

This review is for the Tiqet service rather than the app itself (which I barely used), and if I could, I’d give them at least 10 stars.My family and I just got back from a truly awesome week in Italy and Tiqets was part of the win. In the week leading up to the trip I thought I’d planned for everything only to discover that in this day and age you *need* timed tickets for the Vatican Museum if you’re going in season and plan to bring your kids (my kids at least have a pretty hard limit of 1 hour for lines). The best source for tickets is the Vatican web site but by the time I was shopping they were sold out of every timed option nearly a month past our trip. In desperation I started checking resellers. Viator seemed legit but they were clearly working with 3rd party local tour providers and our instructions were to take a printout to a nearby cafe and we’d be given real tickets by someone there. What if they didn’t show? What if they insisted on upselling us to an expensive tour? I wasn’t going to have many options.So, on the strength of online reviews, I canceled the Viator “tickets” and went with Tiqets who promised via online chat that their timed ticket would get us right in the door - and it worked exactly the way they said it would! As we marched past the quarter-mile-long-line, and my 9 year old kept chanting “Yay Daddy, no line!” I promised myself that if this worked I would write a glowing Tiqets review as soon as we got home. It worked; this is the promised review.The guard ushered us right in through reserved, the entranceway box office immediately gave us scannable tickets, the whole process from outside reserved line to walking in to the exhibits took less than 5 minutes, and my whole family cheered. Thank you Tiqets!!

I had an overall terrible ticketing and customer service experience. Their means of interaction for customer support is either Whatsapp or email only, no phone number to speak to live human being. I purchased a ticket for a venue in Dubai however my husband had an injury and we were not able to go on the original schedule. Since we are unable to refund, we are asking to rebook which they said they will “try” but did not get confirmation. I was left in the dark for days if they can rebook it or not for the day we suggested we can use the tickets. On the day initially suggested, I had been following up all day and kept getting a response that they will “try”. I suggested by the time we only had an hour of the planned rebook date and time, that since we are not getting confirmation to instead book at a different day to give us sufficient time because it takes some travelling from the hotel we were staying at to the venue. They only confirmed with us that we were rebooked 30+ minutes before the time and the venue requires arrival 15 minutes before the schedule. We were not given enough time to confirm and plan for the ticket usage and cannot just wait around all day outside the location hoping we get rebooked or not. We travelled internationally to Dubai and definitely do not have extra time to waste waiting around outside the venue with incertainty. Long story short, our tickets were wasted, they refused to rebook or refund. I do not reccomend Tiqets and had overall bad experience with their services.

My first experience with this sub-par ticket re-seller was a poor one and I will NOT be using them ever again. I purchased “fast track” tickets for Les Bassins des Lumières for my family of five during our trip to Bordeaux. I even paid a little extra for them to be cancellable/changeable, just in case we had any unforeseen circumstances. A total of 53€. The description for the event stated that the tickets did not include the Le Petite Prince exhibit. It did not explain that Les Bassins des Lumières was running as a split exhibit (that is, one exhibit in the morning and the other in the afternoon/evening). My assumption, then, was that there were different exhibition areas (as in a museum). When we showed up at 5pm on the day of our tickets, we were turned away because from 2pm each day they were only running the Petite Prince exhibit “during the school holiday”. And since we purchased tickets through a wholesaler (Tiqets) there was “nothing they could do”. To be able to see anything that day, we would have to buy new tickets to the tune of 40€ (which was not in our budget). So, after the hour-long journey of hauling the family of five to the outskirts of Bordeaux by bus and on foot, we left the exhibit empty and 53€ poorer. Tiqets customer service basically said this: 🤷🏻♂️ “the policy states this so there’s nothing we can do”.
