Overall the app is very useful in the field. One improvement would be the availability to view call details of other calls when you’re on a ticket already. That would easily push this to 4 or 5 stars

Connection Issues

Ever since the first releases of Shield Force I have to constantly log out and log back in to get call updates. If I am using the app during a shift, I guess I am logging out and back in at least 20-30 times. The calls will stay on the screen but when trying to go in for details nothing loads. Also if this happens calls are not being updated. Logging out and back in instantly fixes the issue. I cannot put any trust in the calls I see on the screen until logging back in. The app is great when I log back in and can get info but it’s a major issue for me. I have been using SF now for several years and this has always been a concern.

The list that gives you options of in and out of service, on scene, available, etc. is in an order that makes no sense and we as the user can’t adjust it. Frustrating when your attention is on something else and need to change your status. Also, when we go back in service it should automatically remove the location in the secondary location.

The app is fine. There’s some idiosyncrasies that don’t let the date of birth be correct for some reason but all in all it’s an OK app. I really wish you would connect to Apple CarPlay so that it would give me some displays in the unmarked vehicle vehicles.

Law Enforcement Field Mobile has been renamed to Shield Mobile When more than 250 roadblocks exist, they are automatically filtered by proximity to improve route-solving performance A Scan Plate button was added to the Vehicle Search screen, allowing you to take a photo of a plate to populate the Plate Number and Plate State fields. You can run a NCIC search from the Person Search Results screen by swiping left on a search result and tapping the new Search NCIC button. A new NCIC tab has been added to the Call Details screen, displaying NCIC search results associated with the CFS, including those from Enterprise CAD and Enterprise Mobile. A new Call Log tab has been added to the Call Details screen, displaying information from the Enterprise CAD call log. The Secondary Location screen has been enhanced to display a green checkmark for geo-verified locations. Routing will also attempt to route to non-geo-verified locations when a matching address is found through Esri Online. Create Call widget was updated to have a field to enter a qualifier for the call location Bugfix for MFA/TOTP login screen UI issue.
