So far I have completed nearly 5 seasons. Great fun and very addictive! Would give more than five stars if I could. It’s nice in that if you are busy and don’t have hours upon hours each day to grind on a game it’s perfectly fine. I jump into it a couple times a day, make a few decisions for my club (Dagenham), let a few matches run and all is good. It’s all about strategy and carefully managing the resources of the club to build it. Each move… be it a staffing hire or fire, acquiring players, selling players, upgrading facilities, etc. must be weighed with proper consideration for the overall impact to the club. You have to be patient especially at first because resources are limited. Make your choices carefully and do your research. Not every player that your scouts recommend is necessarily worth the investment. This is where the fun is because you start with a small club and grow it based on your stewardship. Take the opportunities to watch adds for money or coins that will provide you with some additional resources. Do not, however, expect to be taking over Barcelona after putting in a couple hours’ time in the game. You can choose to purchase coin packs in the app if you’re impatient and want more resources to be able to move things along much more quickly if that’s your prerogative. Regardless, I do recommend the in-app purchase that removes the requirement to watch an ad for business opportunities that will increase your operating capital. Of course, various aspects of an entire football club organization are simplified for purposes of playability. Tons of actual/real European football clubs are included… the players themselves are fictitious. Admittedly, this is the only football management game I have tried so I have no basis for comparison… but I have no interest in giving anything else a shot. This game is everything I need and so much downright addictive football management fun.

This game is pretty good and arguably one of the best free football managing games on the App Store, but there are some massive issues that really kill the game. •Why do I lose money every week in game during the off-season when I literally CANT play any games to make money back!? Please fix this massive issue immediately because it makes the game impossible to progress financially as I was in debt before I played even ONE game in my first season. At this point in my 5th season, I’m 700k in debt and have never even been close to making profit on a season. I understand losing money during away games on the season but NOT during the off-season. If this issue could be resolved it would solve the only issue I have in this game as the rest of my problems relate to this.• Why is there a massive gap between the end of December and March where there are no games played? It makes no sense that no games are played for months in the middle of the season, and I also still lose money every week during that break.• I’ve reached the point where since the finances are broken and I’m 700k in debt, when I try to get better players on Bosman Free Transfers they will agree to sign but the game blocks the deal because I can’t afford $0 to get a free transfer! These are massive issues, but the only issues I have with the game as the rest is very well put together and is a really good game. I’d greatly appreciate those changes, thanks!

…I started all over again since I deleted the app after 25 seasons, and now after 35 seasons with the same team I basically win all the games, some are ties, with the results that I finish every season with a minimum of 3 trophies, including champions league, and first on Italian league. Now that I developed my team to the top and having not opponents, what do I do? Starting with other teams to win all the trophies of all the tournaments in every league sounds a mere repetition with the only difference of teams’ names. Said that, the game works very well. Few more options on navigating around each screen (mail, players list etc) or to see the opponent’ s team, would have been appreciated. Anyway, thank you developers for the fun. I paid you $4,99 for your efforts, well deserved. I also tried the tycoon manager. Good job!

As one of the other reviews said, I start with a new club and they’re already losing money every month even if I sell the team for parts. According to dev response the answer is to watch the ad for money or pay real money, which isn’t unfair, but it feels more manipulative than just having ads with no opt-out, if the bottom line is that I have to watch the ads anyway. Your way forces the ads to be part of the game, in the sense that not watching the ad is a bad strategical choice, and in the sense that it puts the lie to the whole fictionalized finance aspect, to some extent. It also just doesn’t make sense—presumably this club was not leaking $200k/year before I bought them.Oh, also. I spent like an hour playing the game for no reason because I didn’t figure that the optional ads were in fact required. Generally I don’t watch ads for in-game currency as a matter of principle. I’m not exactly eager to pick it up again, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who this has happened to.
