I’ve been trading for 3 years and this is the best platform that I’ve seen for beginners. I’ve always been the type to say “ I don’t do demo accounts” and because of that I lost so much money. Tradovate’s demo account is exactly the same as a real account, there’s no way you would know that your on a paper account while trading unless you see your account name that says demo. This is amazing, I have been on a demo account for a month now and it has totally changed my perception. Also, minimum margin for futures allows you to trade with more size with less money. This can be dangerous for newbies but if you paper trade first you can be sure your strategy works and make hella money once you go live. Totally recommend this broker for ES/MES futures!

Are there any Devs working for the app? I’d give 1 star and delete after this much trouble but alas, we need each other. There’s a a huge lack in support. The app has some technical issues that I’d love to discuss with someone or even fix myself if staffing is the problem. The fact of the matter is I’d like for these kinks to actually be dealt with as this is currently one of the best “us regulated” platforms that allow you to spot trade or trade margins. It’s failing to remove my trades at my stop loss or tp. The trades keep trailing until a reversal that’s costed me $70(x2) on a $18/4.5 play. It should be impossible. I demand someone responds as I’ve made requests from the app which i am met with a bank screen that shows neither my inquiry or a response. No email back, or response on x.com via direct message or public mention. I understand if the market forced a size shift im operation, but some sort of transparency, communication would be great. I oases $200 in the account. Took 2 weeks for the deposit to show. And after 2 weeks of solid trading. I get hit with $50 subscription fee. And now the trade that should have taken me out after looking $4.5, i ended up loosing $70

The charts are extremely limited and should be enhanced. What’s even worse is that the chart disappears for good periodically after using the app. It never comes back after closing and reopening it, logging out and back in, restarting the device, etc. The only solution I’ve found is to delete the app and reinstall it after this bug occurs. It only impacts the particular instrument’s chart that was affected. Bracket limits on mobile are way too limited. E.g. 6 points on MNQ is nothing and you will constantly be stopped out on a volatile day. The sliders should allow much larger values (maybe free form text). When you are long or short and are adding a stop order, it should not add its corresponding stop/take profit orders. This requires manual intervention to clean up orders. I think the same is true for orders which are getting the user out of his or her current position. The client shouldn’t add the SL/TP orders in this case. This is how NinjaTrader behaves and makes more sense to me. If you place an order you don’t have margin to support, the client will occasionally freeze and requires closing and reopening it to take any further actions. The market replay feature loses your progress when the app is in the background for a few second. It opens to the area where the user selects the parameters of the day again. This is very annoying for a feature which costs $40/mo. There are a lot of other complaints like not being able to add any indicators to its charts. This is still a decent app but could be great. It really needs some real, consistent TLC.

When compared to other futures trading apps out there, this is garbage plain and simple. Navigating different charts, labeling, managing risk, etc….Is all a massive pain. Even the simple task of adding a limit order to a specific price is difficult for it. I’d stay far away from it, or simply trade on the desktop. But even Tradovates desktop app is pretty poor so I’d find a different broker altogether.Another annoying part of using this is the constant pop ups. Constant updates regarding a position or balance just appear on the screen, often times blocking important buttons. I have had many instance where I was trying to manage a position but couldn’t because I had to swipe these annoying things out of the way. Once they start they seemingly do not stop. It’s completely ridiculous that it happens and shows that the developers do not actually use this. Additionally, there are far to many instances where hitting an order or flatten button just doesn’t work.
