Potential to be a top hot & cold wallet for LN, LQ & BTC

I appreciate that Green has a non-custodial wallet for both Liquid and BTC, and even an experimental Lightning wallet. The top, unique features:- You can create multiple wallets (unlike Breez, Aqua and Muun). - You can restore a wallet from another wallet app (unlike Breez, Aqua and Muun) - even Aqua Liquid transactions tied to a BTC wallet show up in sync on Green. - You can use your Green wallet app on multiple devices simultaneously (unlike Breez and Muun). - Green offers both BTC and Liquid for cold storage on their Jade device (and can be set as Watch Only wallets on Green). - the LN wallet uses true Lightning (unlike the higher fees/swaps of Aqua and Muun), but it is still very glitchy in it’s Beta stageI’m excited about the integration of both Liquid and Lightning technology. If Green were to combine the features of Aqua for swapping it would be a five-star wallet. In my current testing and comparison Breeze is better functioning for Lightning send/receive. Aqua is necessary for Liquid swaps (tip: restore your Aqua wallet in Green to basically integrate their tech here). But if you want to move Lightning back on chain to BTC than Muun is the cheapest and most efficient (tip: Exchange via LN send to Muun to swap/send BTC to Green Jade cold wallet).

I dug up an old paper wallet someone had given me years ago with a few satoshi on it that I completely forgot about, but it turns out no other apps support scanning an actual private key anymore except this one! That kind of dedication to backward compatibility and to the early days of Bitcoin says something about the developers. This app was also easy to onboard onto and figure out for a Bitcoin novice. I love how simple it feels despite lots of features. Transfers to other wallets was straightforward and the fees were reasonable (on par with Coinbase). I haven’t used all the other features yet, so I may update my review later, but first impressions have been great.

Great Foundation, Needs Polish

The Green Wallet has the potential to be the best way to handle and store Bitcoin, but it still needs polish. Connection to Jade is still a little awkward and the UI transitions need to be cleaned up. I turned on experimental features, and it cleaned out the app. I ended up needing to use my recovery phrases to get my Green wallet and Jade wallet back connected. Not a huge inconvenience, but toggling one feature shouldn’t reset the app. With that said, the layout, simplicity, flexibility, and UI have tons of potential. Even with its shortcomings (that can be fixed), it is my favorite wallet to use.

No bells and whistles just a simple, secure bitcoin wallet that met my needs perfectly. I will say with the last update a lot of things changed visually. The biggest problem is the app is much slower, it used to be very quick. Some other things changed for the worse but I haven’t figured out exactly what because the app is so slow. I noticed when sending it is harder to see the dollar equivalent of BTC in your wallet. It’s there just have to cycle from BTC to usd. I like the app before they fixed it.
