Love the app and have been purchasing crypto for months and trading via Gemini exchange but for some reason my verification is still pending after 3 months and I can transfer or withdraw any funds, but I can buy and trade which should mean I’m verified!! I’ve emailed constantly but get a pre written response on instructions for using the exchange, I can’t get a answer as to why I’ve not been granted verification especially after uploading over 20 documents!!! Otherwise I love the app due to lightning fast purchase to trade transactions, security, design, and the ability to purchase gift cards. Definitely more trusting and customer oriented than coinbase where one accidentally charge back gets you banned or eternity even you pay it back !!! Would like to see more promotions or a learn and earn opportunity! But 3 months to verify a customer is strange and probably just a glitch, I mean social security makes decisions disability decisions quicker!!! Update finally received verification with reasonable explanation regarding the massive influx of new users and the increased workload placed on exchange and purchasing platforms. So I’ve increased my rating to 5 stars because Gemini has established itself as a leader and shown that they take pride in being an trustworthy, innovative, secure platform. And love the new earn/staking options that’s been added!

I love the color/design aesthetic, the interface is soooooo user friendly, buying crypto is a breeze, the onboarding process was a piece of cake! And I really gotta thank you for that because more and more it seems, websites and apps are turning onboarding into this ham fisted, uphill against the wind struggle so again thank you for that🙏🏻 Verifying my bank credentials and depositing money has been completely hassle free, and I really like the selection of tokens, you have the OGs: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, of course Doge and Shiba Inu, they have Polygon, Ox, Dai and so many others! They just launched a bunch of new tokens like Audius, AP13, and Radicle to name a few, as well they launched the Metaverse tokens like Cube, Smooth Love Potion, Sandbox and Decentraland to name a few. I also like that they sent out an email explaining the Metaverse and they send out other educational emails as well. Their fees are way reasonable unlike another platform I used to be with whom shall remain nameless😜 Also they’re answerable to the New York Department of Financial Services so you know there’s that extra layer of accountability/protection. If you’re thinking of signing up be advised you’ll have to be comfortable with furnishing your ID, social, etc. but any brick and mortar bank and CC issuer’s gonna ask you the same thing anyway but unlike applying for credit Gemini won’t do a hard credit pull. All in all I’m really enjoying my experience with Gemini, thank you for making the bast cryptospace approachable and easy to engage with for a newbie like me🙏🏻✨

Good exchange thats reliable, professional, and one of the few that caters to NY citizens. The app is good but the interface could be better to improve the experience. Here are some suggestions: - Make everything a bit smaller or more condensed. Currently, individual interfaces and text are given a lot of space. If the space was made smaller and if similar information such as credit card balance, portfolio balance, and available cash were condensed into one “Balance” widget, instead of “Portfolio” and “Credit Card” widgets it would create more space and make other information such as watchlists more readily available, as well as credit cards while still allowing space for the ads and blogs section. Details for the credit card can be found at its dedicated page in the dock. And the portfolio also has its own dedicated page. There is no need for redundancy. - Incorporate Buy/Sell into the chart page for each cryptocurrency, instead of one big trade button that takes you to a separate interface. In this built-in interface, be able to change between limit and market orders and see the order book in real time. When making limit orders, I find myself waiting for trades to fill. I can’t see the order book, and having to continuously back out of the trade screen to check the order book to set my limit price for a trade to execute quickly is a pain. Having the Buy/Sell interface built into the chart screen will allow for less hassle in the execution of advanced trades. Hope you guys actually listen to these because this would really make Gemini more user friendly, more efficient, and maybe even a bit faster to load with less pages to redirect to.

***Issue resolved*** Gemini customer support was able to resolve my issue. So I’ve adjusted my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Gemini customer support needs additional methods of contact. My issue took 10 days to resolve to be appropriately credited. I was able to make an account & verify seamlessly. I did a test transfer of about $300 of fil coin. Arrived within minutes and was appropriately credited in my account. Then I transferred over $5000 worth of DAI coin and here is where the problems started. The transfer completed within minutes. The problem? It’s not showing up in my account despite the transfer being completed. So I wait a day before contacting support. I contact support through the only method possible email. I wait a day or so before I get a response and am told it will need to be escalated but will take quite some time before next steps are available. First off This type of support is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with larger amounts of money. There should at minimum be some type of live support. I just want what’s rightfully mine back and I want some responsive assistance until I get my funds back. Outside of this serious issue I’ve never had any problem, but beware of sending large amounts of money.
