Update: I received an email from the developers within 24 hours and also got v4.7.1 pushed to my phone. The problem with dates missing was corrected. I’m using iOS 17.1.1 and the app worked pretty well except that things don’t seem to sync up properly. When I enter the 10-digit tracking number, the package shows up, but it does not appear under the To Me tab even when I entered the number there manually. I know my name is attached to the package because a DHL representative called me to confirm information for customs processing. Also, the update to 4.7.0 lost the dates in the tracking info. I see the times each step in the processing occurred, but now all dates are missing. They were there until I updated in Nov 25. I know they are still being generated since I can track the package through the seller’s website and I see both the dates and times there.

The worst experience so far: added the delivery note that the leasing office is closed at 6pm, and as a gated community it has no other way to deliver the package; the delivery is scheduled to the end of the day. And yes, it was on its way after 6pm and yes, it didn’t made it. Texted the CS, they assured me they will deliver next day BEFORE 6pm. I also added a detailed time and note with the app. And yes, no one read it so another notification that the premises were closed at 7:30pm the next day. I wonder why… After their fail to deliver, I cannot change the delivery details myself in the app. I called Custome Service and they told me the details I put is the REQUEST and it is not guaranteed that it will be delivered as I specified. So, basically useless to say what you want, if they fail to deliver, it is your fault. The best part is the app is late to show the updates about the delivery, while the website shows the updated status instantly.Long story short, after 3 failed deliveries I requested to drop it at a pick up location. The ridiculous thing is the location is near me, closes at 5:30pm and today the delivery was failed because oh wow the premises were closed. I wonder why… Basically a week of delay, as they don’t deliver on weekends and I have literally no idea how am I supposed to get my package… so yeah, app is useless at tracking updates, apparently so do the customer service. Try different company.

The app had an issue with the iOS 17 update. The developers quickly fixed the issue and now the app is working fine.I’m able to easily track my package. I do wish there was a way to simply mark the item easier tracking within the app. There are simply too many clicks needed when returning. First, I have to select the field for the tracking number. This takes me to a different screen when I then have to select from my recent tracking history. There is a page for items shipped ‘To Me’. However, no matter how many times I enter my waybill number it doesn’t show any results. Also, even though the address in my profile matches the shipping address, it doesn’t show my item.App still needs improvement.

I swear if my package sits in the Franklin Park Illinois facility for one more day I am going to lose my cool on these people. It’s been sitting there since at least Thursday. I paid for express. I paid the customs payment and still they did not ship it before the weekend. AND SURPRISE! Unlike every other mail carrier in this country they DONT WORK AT ALL ON THE WEEKENDS. It has almost been a full week for something that should have arrived last week and NOW it looks like it is not moving from the FRANKLIN PARK facility TODAY EITHER. What is wrong with DHL? I’m asking my friend to switch to Fedex or UPS. This is absolutely ridiculous for the amount of fees they charge. They could have sent my package on Friday. Or alerted me of customs duties on thursday and then sent it. I’m a very timely person with paying fees and to have a company not care and just hang on to it makes me very upset. They have lost my business. AT THIS POINT IM PRETTY SURE THEY HAVE LOST MY PACKAGE! They’ve had it at the FRANKLIN PARK FACILITY FOR 5 days now!! Is this fast? NO! FIND SOMEONE ELSE. DHL has run its course and needs to be put out of existence.
