Quick way to count, track and tally your calories during the day.

Everyone has a personalized number of calories they should eat every day based on factors including their weight, height, activity levels, and weight loss/maintenance/gain goals.

It’s hard to track calorie intake, though, not least because it’s easy to forget everything you eat during a busy day.

Recording your calories as you eat gives you a clearer picture of the calories you are consuming. It also enhances your awareness of food values and nutrient levels, all of which helps you make healthier choices when eating.

Based on your weight, height and activity level, Calory will calculate a suggested daily calorie goal for you. The daily goal will also factor in if you want to maintain, lose or gain weight.

After you know your daily energy requirements, your challenge is to eat the right number of calories!

Calory, meanwhile, will remind you throughout the day to record your calorie intake.

Importantly, there is no registration or sign up required! All the information you enter into Calory is stored on your iCloud, protecting your privacy.

seems improved but some aspects cumbersome

the food database seems to have been fixed with the 1.2 update so I will see if I can switch from Lose It.

I have noticed that entering foods is a few too many steps. I hit the plus button, and the default for some reason is to manually enter calories or enter a plate. I’d prefer the search to be default. But either way when I do enter the search database the keyboard should already be up, I shouldn’t have to tap the search field for that to happen. my goal is to log my foods as quickly as possible and since they’re usually homemade to have a database that reasonably approximates what I might eat.

Also, after I have entered food via the search interface it is good that that interface remains active in case I want to enter something else. But “Done” seems like a more appropriate verb than “Cancel,” which has the connotation that the food that I just logged might not be saved.

UI bugs/Some "quality of life" issues

I want to like this app but there's this ridiculous UI bug where if you close and open the app, the panel to input info takes anywhere from a few seconds to 20 seconds to pop up. I've been jotting down what I eat in Notes in the meantime.

I don't want to wait every time I want to quickly input something and I know I'm not alone in this. I've seen other reviews address the same thing. I'll gladly update this if the bug is addressed but it's such a glaring issue that I'm surprised it hasn't been fixed.

Thanks for responding. After uninstalling G-Board and Numpad, the long loading animation bug disappeared. Don't know if this will help at all with debugging but after reinstalling G-board and Numpad, the app's still working fine. Now that the app's usable for me, I'm changing my rating.

Again, I really like the concept and the design is fantastic — I think it's really unique and very aesthetically pleasing but needs polishing.

Once all the pesky bugs and quality-of-life issues are fixed (the app only just recently came out so I have faith), this app will be one of the best food/diet trackers out there.

Hello and thank you for reporting. This issue is related if using Gboard keyboard extension. If you disable it, our app will work normally. We are looking into this why Google’s app is causing this issue.

Beautifully Simple and Clean

One of the worst aspects of other food tracking apps is they push ads, unnecessary extras, or have an overly complicated UI.

Calory is thankfully a relief from this sea of poorly designed apps, and offers instead an easy to use, visualize, and utilize app that has just enough integration and extras to be perfect, without cluttering the interface with garbage unnecessary UI.

The easy to visualize quick view, along with the recent macro improvements and significant food database improvements has made this my go-to food tracking application.
