Liftin' is designed to make workout tracking as simple as possible. Fiddle less with your devices and focus on what's important, your workout. FEATURES • Clean and simple workout tracking on iPhone and Apple Watch. • Set up rules to automatically adjust the weights depending on your results. • Beautiful graphs to visualize your short and long term progress. Liftin' is also integrated with Apple Health so using this app will help you fill up your activity rings on the Apple Watch. Liftin' is a premium app, but you can try it for free. Simplicity is a good thing

I have to give credit where credit is due. The simple nature of this app is what makes me WANT to use it and therefore be more consistent with my lifting regimen. I have been a weightlifter on and off for 10 years. I don’t have aspirations to be a professional bodybuilder or competitor, I only lift for myself. Is this app my ideal app for lifting? No. There’s a few small features I wish I could have (emphasis on small; because I want to retain the simplicity of the app) however it’s the closest thing I’ve found and I’m really enjoying it. Even the option to switch the app icon from light to dark on your home screen is a nice touch! A lot of other “workout” apps don’t solely focus on lifting and even the ones that do, they all have too many features which most of us won’t even use. Those apps cater to people who’s lives revolve around the gym and are training for the Olympia, not to mentioned the constant intrusive ads that render using the app impossible. I also don’t like to or want to track literally every movement I do in the gym. I just need something simple to track the BIG exercises - Bench Press, Deadlift and Squats to begin with, with a few other major lifts.If you’re like me, then I highly recommend this app

Streamline your tracking system👀

I have never reviewed an app before, but Liftin has truly changed the game for me!After trying multiple digital weightlifting tracking systems, and even creating a couple of my own, I was never really satisfied with the results—unintuitive, clunky, hard to tailor for unconventional routines, terribly designed, and with an overwhelming amount of features that were not really useful for me, I almost give up and go back to good old pen and paper! To my luck, I discovered this app a couple of months ago and I have to say without a doubt that this is the first only app so far that I can actually recommend for weightlifters that are looking to streamline their tracking with the flexibility of customizing almost every variable of an exercise. If you are looking for a simple but effective solution, look no further because Liftin’ has got you covered! Props to Valter for developing on his own such a valuable product🙌🏼

Incredibly Arcane but Promising

While this app is nicely designed and has some features of a more advanced app like Heavyset, in my testing I have found many things that are just straight up puzzling. 1RM can only be set from the routine design interface and scaling from training max is set per lift. Once I sorted this out, I was able to make a simple routine. However, where things got extremely bizarre is the ad-hoc workouts. If you have a program and do an ad-hoc session, it will populate the set and rep scheme for a given lift from your first day of a program at times. Alternatively, if it logs a standard 5x5 routine for an ad hoc session, it will overwrite the programming for day one of a routine for any given lift, turning it into a 5x5 scheme with a training max of 100lbs. Also, the inability to retroactively remove sets in an ad hoc session is strange. On a positive, the auto progression is a good idea. It would be nice for it to have more complex logic such as how many reps were performed at the heaviest set affecting load increase amount (this could reference a standard or custom rpe chart for example)

You can also track it in the Progress tab > Exercise.For Ad-Hoc Workouts, you can compose it by selecting exercises from other routines, but you can also select exercises that are not configured beforehand. In the Add Exercises screen, tap the Routines header button and switch to All Exercises.You can add and remove sets in Ad-hoc workouts, just tap the pencil button to edit it from the exercise screen.It seems like you have many questions and thoughts about the app, and I will gladly hear it in more detail to take feedback and help you find the features you are looking for. Best workout tracking app

This is the best workout tracking app I’ve found, and I’ve tried most (if not all) of them over the past few years. - The UX is very nice and the watch app looks and feels great. - Connectivity between the watch and iPhone have also been super reliable the entire time I’ve been using the app!- Haven’t had a chance to try the automatic progression yet, but like that it’s available and so configurable. - The plate calculator is super useful (I’ve often needed a separate app for this with other apps I’ve used) and even works super well on the watch app as well!!- I really like that I can add any exercise/equipment/etc that’s not currently in the app so I can still do everything I need if I’m doing some kind of niche alteration of an exercise that hasn’t been added yet- LOVE that I can export my workout data. That’s been one of my biggest complaints with other apps cause when you can’t export your data, you have to reteach the app any time you use a new one, and you can’t chart out/analyze your strength growth any other way than the included reports. Really appreciate this feature as it ensures I have agency and ownership over my own workout data!!!- the dev is SUPER responsive and really helpful with any issues I haveThanks again for such an amazing and well thought out app! I’m excited to use it for a long time and appreciate how easy it is to work with!

Best workout tracking app
