The app does NOT sync all your blood donations. It will allow you to add an appointment, but once your appointment is complete it never increments the # of donations you made. If you look in your donations history, it may or may not appear there. The list of donations in your history does NOT equal the number of donations they have tallied for you on the front page. Also, it does not allow you to add your Versiti ID to your wallet which would make for an easier QR scan in at your appointment. It does not allow you to log into the app with your face ID even though the app shows the feature is there. Lastly, there is NO way to contact anyone from within the app to resolve/report any of the glitches. It is a very Plain Jane app that has the potential for so much more, but barely works.

App was downloaded months agoso I could sign up for blood donations. I’ve been unable to use the app since I installed it. I’ve only been able to login once and I believe that was just by accident. I’ve had to constantly reset my password. And even after a reset it still says the login fails. Today, just by coincidence, I was contacted by a Versiti team member to donate blood. I told her I literally just got back from the RED CROSS today from a donation. I explained how I tried to login to Versiti last night and was unable to get my Versiti app to work. The team member said this is a common complaint with people, and she said she would elevate my concerns to the next level. She said they are working very hard to address these concerns. While I was on the phone with the team member, she tried to reset the password at her computer for me and it failed twice on her.

First of all, I have to scroll through all my saved passwords just to find “Versiti” this is annoying at times.Secondly, it shows iI have donated everything under “Donate Now” section. It is confusing. I guess it is showing when I am eligible to donate that type. I do like scheduling through the app, although I cannot get the promotional stuff like gift cards, drink cozy, etc. I do not need those things, but why offer if I cannot get them?

I was somewhat frustrated with this app when I installed it yesterday, because after I created my account and input my donor number it wouldn’t let me press any of the buttons or show me any of the information. But when I tried it again today everything had synced up and it seems to work perfectly. I won’t know if everything actually works perfectly until I can try it at the next blood drive, but so far all indications are good. So if you just installed this and are annoyed by its lack of responsiveness, just log out and try again tomorrow.
