An Official U.S. Navy mobile application, produced by MyNavy HR IT Solutions The Navy’s Professional Military Knowledge Eligibility Exam (PMK-EE) mobile application is a convenient way for Sailors to prepare for and take the required exam as part of the enlisted advancement process for E4 through E7 paygrades. The revised content version of PMK-EE consists of 100 questions spread across five sections: -- Career Information, -- Leadership & Character, -- Naval Heritage, -- Professionalism, and -- Warfighting & Readiness. Sailors must achieve a passing score of 80 percent or higher on each section to pass the PMK-EE. Failure to pass a section will require that section to be retaken. Individuals must also achieve an overall passing score of 80 percent or higher on the PMK-EE for the next higher pay grade to be eligible to take the Navy-Wide Advancement Examination (NWAE) for that pay grade. When a Sailor exits the app before completing a section, the app bookmarks that spot. The next time the app is opened, it returns to the bookmarked location, allowing the Sailor to continue with the exam from that point. Key features: -- Available anytime, anywhere – no CAC required -- Tailored to specific paygrades: E4, E5, E6, and E7 -- Displays topics and bibliography content from any compatible device -- Presents randomly selected exam questions each time a Sailor concludes a section -- Permits retaking any section as often as necessary to achieve passing score of 80 percent -- Allows Sailors to submit course completion certificate to Navy Training Management Planning System (NTMPS) via the app -- PMK-EE is one component of the Sailor 2025 rating modernization effort to improve the Sailor experience. Not nearly as good as I thought

Read a few reviews before I downloaded it that said completing the exams can’t be uploaded to E-learning. I can’t confirm if that is true or not because I never actually completed any on this app. It’s just better to do the exams on E-learning because when you review the exam after failing it this app doesn’t give you the correct answer to the questions you got wrong, so it will take a lot longer to figure out what the right answer is and pass the exams.

I can’t confirm if that is true or not because I never actually completed any on this app. It’s just better to do the exams on E-learning because when you review the exam after failing it this app doesn’t give you the correct answer to the questions you got wrong, so it will take a lot longer to figure out what the right answer is and pass the exams.

Omg. I was freaking out because E Learning was not working for me at home. I tried 3 different computer in 2 different locations and the website was completely down on the last day that PMK’s are due for eligibility. That was my fault for procrastinating until the last minute. I almost gave up until my friend told me about this app. After reading the reviews I was skeptical that it wouldn’t work. This app has mostly bad reviews. At this point it was a 50/50 chance it would work and my PMK would be completed on time or I would just have to try again next exam cycle. WELL IT WORKED!!! I took me 1.5 hours to complete. I also downloaded the original mailing app with the white envelope and blue background first before starting it and made sure my email was connected to that before starting and finishing the PMK. It also will ask you for you DOD once you finish and you can save your certificate to your camera roll, and files before emailing it to yourself. The email was an actual certificate not a file or PDF that I know of. THE APP WORKS. They definitely considered all the reviews they got from 1-2 years ago and definitely made fixes to the app as well as notes to help guid you in the app if you don’t know what to do. Definitely will be using again if I ever need to.

On a postive note, the app is pretty well laid out and user friendly. It’s not glitchy and all the functions seem to work properly. Except one. The most important function of this entire app is to send information of successful completion to update your FLTMPS record. And it does not do that. I am on an iphone, OCONUS, using internet service off my local SIM card. There is no wifi. They failed to mention this creates a problem for the app. I successfully completed the course and am unable to hit the Send button on the auto generated email within the app that sends the completed certificate to their database and up to FLTMPS. I called NTMPS. They walked me through verifying my phone’s settings were all correct. I am the lucky winner of I-get-to-take-PMK-EE-all-over-again. But this time i have to use the gov computer with crap internet and work through the always-have-a-pleasant-experience e-learning website.I am not happy at all about this. It has wasted a lot of my time.
