So, I reviewed this app a while ago, sometime in August. I am updating from that. I passed the written test 49/50. The question I answered wrongly; I knew but did not read correctly. Anyway, I used this app until the day I had the examination. I studied for an hour, with no practice tests in the beginning. By the time I reached the second section, I had added practice tests. Honestly, I did not use the application’s version, so I used my local DMV’s website. I live in NY, and the questions are nearly identical on the app and website. Every day, I studied, practiced, studied, practiced, etc. Then, when I had the examination, BOOM. I breezed through it. It took me 10-15 minutes, and my brain was on autopilot. Hardly did I look at the questions because I knew the answer already. I never touched the manual, and I hated reading it. None of the information stuck, and people always said, “cram it.” If you are a person that needs an organized and explicit path, this is it. It removes nonessential information so you can study and practice efficiently and effectively. You do not need to view the manual if you bought the subscription for this, and I recommend you do. It costs almost nothing, you have it for life, and it works across all devices. If you want to pass the written exam easily, then this app will help. If you study from this, use practice tests from your local DMV website; it‘s impossible to fail. Thanks to the creators of this app, and I hope everyone can pass their written test with flying colors!

Ima tell you straight up how it is. I took 2 months worth of online classes to get my permit and eventually my drivers license like every one else right. And although it was informative I swear to you that this app went above and beyond. I totally forgot what the online classes taught me and this app taught me everything I needed to know to fínese the test. It gives you all kinds of tests w several levels of difficulty. It gives you explanations for wrong and right answers and even recalls all the questions you know very well. It recalls the ones you don’t know too well and let’s you mark questions as favorites incase you want to do that. It reminds you when to study and is super easy to use. This app is fantastic I live in California and here you get a max of 8 wrong answers and I got 5 out of those 8. This app helped more than anything. However if you don’t want to do the online classes that’s cool. Just wait until your older than 17 1/2 to take your permit test and no online classes needed just study. Get this app tho!

This app has been my go-to source to learn and practice what I learned from the DMV manual!! It’s set up like Quizlet Learn function. The great thing about this app is there’s a variety of questions and they are categorized by general knowledge, fines and limits, and signs and situations. The app detects which questions you have been getting wrong in which you can review it in a separate tab in the app. Whether you get the questions wrong or right, an explanation is always provided for every question, which I found extremely helpful to understand. Also, the app can help you set up a study plan which it will tell you how many questions per day you should practice until the day of your test. If you enable the notifications, it will also remind you to study!On the side note, I passed my permit test with the help of this app! Thanks!

This app is significantly better then similar apps in terms of what you can get for free in my opinion. It goes into deeper details and makes me feel a lot more confident then some of the other apps that make you pay an outrageous price for just to practice. There are a lot of ads but there not intrusive until after you finish a practice set so it’s not irritating compared to other apps. If you really want to be confident I would recommend using a combination of apps because some of the apps do have better visuals that could really help in combination with this.
