My mesh WiFi router was getting old and starting to fail in small ways. My house isn’t large, but it features a large chimney in the middle that tends to block WiFi signals. I was hoping to replace my mesh with a single router, but needed an easy way to test different locations to see what gave the best performance throughout the house, and also to test performance between two different router options.This app was a big help in that process - I just picked a few spots in the house to test signal strength, marked those spots in the app, and it created a report for each router/location combination (I took a screenshot of each to make quick comparisons in Photos). This made my final decision very straightforward.

I have been looking for a better way to evaluate the performance of my home WiFi and came across this app. It provides accurate network speed, but the part that surprised me was the AR feature where you can measure the network speed at various places around the house and see the report using AR. This allowed me to compare the different values and see where the signal was the strongest or the weakest. The developer obviously put a lot of effort into this app. Very nicely done!

Some times it is hard to put into words how unique a app is! This is one of those cases! I downloaded this app and not only did it give me correct information, or Data but I found I learned a lot from this app. How often does this happen? Not very often that is why for me I feel this is one of those special unique apps! Thank you so much for the Developer who design and put it out here. I’ve been using it for months now to check and track my phone data speeds and wifi speeds, mostly. Nothig complex. This app does everything I want easily and quickly. I find nothing about it to be annoying, obtrusive, or irritating—it’s simple to check my speeds/logs with nothing else distracting me. I went out of my way to write this review because I feel this is uncommon in apps anymore, but iWifi has been a gem for its simplicity and ease of use. Really glad I found it.
