Break up with your smartphone at night.
Loftie is the alarm clock that gets your phone out of the bedroom. The app sets up your Loftie Clock or Lamp, then gets out of the way: alarms, sounds, the sunrise light and wind-down routines, from your phone when you want them and from the clock when you don't.
Meet Henry. Tell him what's on your mind, a to-do, a 2am idea, your frequent flyer number, and he keeps it, sorts it and reminds you when it matters, so it stops pulling you back to your phone. Henry runs on Claude, by Anthropic. He's free while we build him with you.
Less phone, built in:
• Drift. Your phone senses your Loftie Clock nearby and puts your chosen apps to sleep the moment you walk into the bedroom. Walk out in the morning and they wake up with you.
• Rest. Block distracting apps automatically around your sleep and wake times, in three phases: Relax, Sleep and Rise.
• The Loftie Card. A wallet-sized card that blocks your apps with one tap to your phone, wherever you are.
• A calmer home screen. The Loftie Clock + Henry widget, and Flip: a plain list of only the apps you need.
• Your rules. Choose exactly which apps and websites go quiet and which stay open, like calls, maps and music.
For your Loftie:
• Alarms, sounds, the sunrise light and red mode on your clock, set from anywhere in the house
• Hundreds of sounds, stories, meditations and breathwork for your clock's library
• Wind-down routines for the clock and the lamp
Works with a Loftie Clock or Loftie Lamp; Drift needs a Loftie Clock.

Impressive — but I have some feedback (devolopers please read)
DarkOutcast6
Highly impressive, and a stunning experience. The Loftie Smart Alarm clock has such a variety of sounds and playlists. On the other hand, I have a few suggestions that wouldn’t be too hard to follow through with. For one, a little bit of animation between different menu items on the clock would make the UI and display feel much more intuitive. It would also be great if there was a option to connect your Loftie Smart Lamp to your clock so that we could control our lamps directly from our clocks to further eliminate the use of screens. My final suggestion is that we can upload custom audio files to our clocks to play music tracks, ebooks, and other meditation tracks. Honestly, it really wouldn’t be that hard, and I would hope a company like Loftie would do something to work to add these suggestions. Is this possible? A response to this would be great, thank you! All in all, amazing product!

Updated May 2024: Earlier this spring, we released an updated clock firmware that includes the ability to set alarms on your lamp(s) automatically right from the clock, no app needed. Have you tried it? We hope you like it but in any case, we'd love to hear from you. Let us know what you think at support@byloftie.comEarlier Response: Thank you for your feedback. We're working on the lamp-clock integration. We've certainly considered the ability to upload files and will note your input.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME

I thought the lamp was a little expensive but I loved the idea of having a calming glow before bedtime and good lighting in the morning, especially for the dark mornings during a Chicago winter. I bought mine from the certified Loftie “refurbished” section but I thought it would be like an Apple product because I saw soooo many great reviews. I’m assuming they delete the bad ones. Worse than my money, I have wasted hours trying to get this thing to work. And now I’m spending even more time writing this review to save someone the frustration. 1. It doesn’t stay connected to WiFi no matter how many times I connect it. It immediately disconnects on the next prompt. When it’s not connected (always), you also have no control over changing anything. 2. You only have two choices of colors you pick - the other three colors are presets. 3. It turns on in the middle of the night as if it’s trying to reset itself (this is a new fun one). 4. The only reason I’ve been desperate to get it to reconnect to WiFi was so I could change the morning waking color. I’ve no idea what happened but it’s suddenly a weird green base and white top color. I chose a pale yellow. I forget the color name. 5. It’s beautiful color shades but it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Please dont waste your time.

A Game Changer!
AviatorDan
So, I recently got the Loftie Clock, and honestly, it's a game-changer. First off, the design is super sleek and modern – it looks great on my nightstand. The best part is the two-phase alarm system. Instead of jolting you awake, it gently eases you out of sleep with soothing sounds, which makes getting up in the morning a lot more pleasant. Another cool feature is the built-in white noise and nature sounds. I used to use my phone for this, but having it all in one device is really convenient. Plus, it means I can leave my phone in another room and not get distracted before bed. The display is nice and dim at night, so it doesn’t light up the whole room, but it's still easy to read. Setting it up was pretty straightforward too – the app is user-friendly and pairs quickly with the clock. Overall, the Loftie Clock is a bit on the pricier side, but I think it's worth it for the quality and features it offers. If you're looking for a stylish and functional alarm clock that helps improve your sleep routine, I'd definitely recommend checking it out!

Minimalist Design + Prime Nostalgia

so happy to be introduced to this tool. At a time when I've been ditching, limiting, and resisting most gadgets and technology in the house this is the stand alone exception. It's the perfect balance of modern tech, minimal aesthetics and prime nostalgia. Form and function created something beautiful and utilitarian. I love its practically it's built-in sounds selections, two phase alarm, and an added bonus night light. But most importantly, it helps me ditch my phone in the valuable time before bed and after wake up, while still being able to rely on a solid alarm system. My one piece of feedback for the industrial designers on the next iteration, is for a system option to enlarge the size of the numbers displayed. It's slick as is but for anyone that's as visually challenged like me just keep your eyeglasses close or just cuddle up next to it for middle of the night peeps. No knocks on Loftie tho, they've created something really special and after much anticipation I'm appreciative to what arrived.
