I’ve had my ring for just under one year. Overall, I’ve been really happy with my Ultrahuman experience! The sizing kit is a great help with selecting size and finish. The shipping times are consistent with the expectations the company provides. I also opted to purchase the extended warranty, which came in handy recently.I lost enough weight that my ring began to fit too loosely and spun around my finger too easily. I dug up my original sizing kit, tried out the next size down for a couple days, and decided it was time to utilize the weight loss coverage in the extended warranty. There was a little hiccup while in the support chat (technical glitch) but was able to get the next agent up to speed quickly, provided the information they needed, and got the replacement size ordered same day. Shipping will take a little bit but that’s to be expected. I’m pleased with my support experience (shoutout to Burhan). The app experience is easy to use and the recent update that allows you to clean up the home navigation bar is incredible. I do wish the data sync was more seamless (could be partially used error, admittedly, but I wear my ring all the time and sometimes there will be a few consecutive days where no data uploads). Given my experience with support so far, I feel pretty confident that if I continue to experience these issues that I can reach back out.

I absolutely love my Ultrahuman ring! I’ve had it for over seven months now and it has been super helpful to my doctor so she could make better heart healthy lifestyle recommendations. I am sleeping better and performing better in my marathon races as a result. The ring tracks my sleep patterns far better than my Garmin Fenix 7X. And the ring is much more comfortable to wear at night than my Garmin! I really appreciate the fact that the ring offers so many features without a subscription. In addition to sleep tracking, I have really enjoyed the meditation and sleep features of the app. I use them about twice a week to unwind and destress in order to get a good nights sleep.Recently my ring stopped working for some reason. However, customer support was outstanding and patiently helped me troubleshoot the problem. Ultimately, we were unable to figure out what had gone wrong, but ultrahuman support ordered a replacement right away. If not for this one issue I would give this app and ring a five star review !

I was excited to try this ring due to its high rating and no subscription, but it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The ring seemed to work ok for the first few days, with no issue. Then it began to disconnect from the app, which is the only way to see your tracked data. The battery life also proceeded to get shorter. I lost a couple days of tracking due to these issues before deciding to contact support. There was a decent delay in communication, but they did try to help by pushing a firmware update. That didn’t resolve the problem. They pushed another update which disconnected it from my app without me knowing it. This big brother overwatch felt a little intrusive. After several attempts the issue was still not resolved. On top of it this app doesn’t seem to work properly either. None of the “i” info buttons work, so you can’t get an explanation of what is being tracked or understand the terminology. Frustrated, I told them I’d like a refund and to return the ring. They wanted to send me a replacement instead, but I declined. The final outcome was a refund and they told me to keep the ring and continue using it. I’ve tried using it only at night and it worked for a couple of days. Another update was just pushed and now I cannot even connect to the ring. I’m not sure if they intentionally bricked my ring or if the update broke everyone’s rings. It seems that their hardware and software are still very much in beta testing. Given the choice I would not recommend Ultrahuman.

Though the app provides base information for mindfulness with sleep scales, meditation, yoga, etc. I believe there is some level of misleading marketing with its metabolic platform. The one major aspect of the app that is the highlight of the companies marketing is the metabolic device (cyborg). With a current waitlist, not a lot of people have the ability to take part in the biggest aspect of the app. The device, a common over the counter-ish continuous glucose monitor (Freestyle Libre 2). Already having purchased the device, I asked if I can simply sync the device to the app and use it for metabolic tracking features. Unfortunately, as I was informed by support, I cannot and will have to wait until Ultrahuman ships me their Freestyle Libre 2 device. The same device I already have. So, essentially, the waitlist(as explained by support) is to stagger the rollout of the Ultrahuman platform. Here’s the misleading marketing aspect. As told by Ultrahuman support, due to regulations, shipping is only limited to Pan-India and they have no plans of opening it up to outside this area. So, as support informed me, I will not be getting the (cyborg) device (a freestyle libre 2—which I already have) at all. No chances. As the support said. The workaround to bypass regulatory restrictions as suggested by Ultrahuman support was to find someone in Pan-India. And see if they are interested in me having the device sent to them and then they ship the device to me. Pretty shady.
