HeartCast was built with love by an avid Peloton user.
This works sometimes. Often have to kill the app multiple times in both my watch and phone before they will sync up and I can actually start broadcasting. Even then, sometimes it will just stop working halfway though my ride. Most of the time once it’s connected it doesn’t send updates at regular intervals there will be periods where my cycling app doesn’t receive a value for several seconds up to several minutes. Recently, they added the ability to record works to apple health. This is REQUIRED now for the app to work. I do not want this app writing workouts to Apple health. My cycling app does that. All this is doing is forcing me to go delete a workout that doesn’t even have accurate data to begin with.

Under Preferences please choose: “Never Save” for the Workout option: “Save to Apple Health”.Please feel free to email us some details about your cycling app so we can investigate the other issues.
Great Heart Rate Monitoring App
Tttttttttisttttttt
I’ve used this for years, but the 2025 updates (AirPods Pro 3 support and haptic zone alerts) have made it even better. It’s reliable, private and keeps my Apple Watch or air pods at the center of my fitness data. Setup is quick and it has never dropped a connection during a long ride. The customer service is responsive and reliable. I just donated $100 to show my appreciation. There’s not many like this out there. 10/10.

Thank you so very much for your kind review and incredibly generous donation! 💙
Brilliant

I’ve used HeartCast to connect my Apple Watch heart rate to Zwift, Peloton, MyWhoosh, and now Kinomap. It has gotten simpler and faster the past few years and, any time I’ve had issues, it was because of the other software I was connecting to. I didn’t want to buy a dedicated heart rate monitor when I already had an Apple Watch. When I couldn’t find any other solution, this was it and it continues to be the best solution for me.

Thank you so much for sharing this lovely review! <3
Not for tacx training app
canwemakeiteasier
Unfortunately it doesn’t work for what I wanted, which was to easily sync HR from apple watch to tacx indoor workouts. All it does is separately start a indoor cycling (or other) workout, which I can already do with apple workouts.
HeartCast is now translated into German, Dutch, Spanish, and French for all UI strings across iOS and watchOS. (More to come)
App-level language overrides so you can choose your preferred language for HeartCast.
