I like Delta Max for my main backup power options….the app is really improving..hopefully more custom settings adjust soon….I’ll probably not add to this review as I like most of the ecoflow units I have better than most nearly as good with constant use…I have about 9 months of experience of daily using a Delta max to process solar and also charge & run other items. I have a channel Maxedout4real on the gooogle video website. Soon I expect to put Delta max to use even more than I do and still keep it fairly well charged and the batteries/battery in great shape. Feel fee to look at Maxedout4real videos with delta max doing things not seen done ….let alone not done with an EF product. The best features of delta max is its potential to use the external battery with a great cord…that cord with delta max or any bigger EF portable power station + more updates in the app could make EF the most features out of most any portable power station out there…plus patience with EF when there’s issues can really mean a good experience…sometimes customer service is difficult with them but difficulty happens sometimes. I think even first generation delta max units could have more really awesome features that no1 even seems to be near able to do well…or do at all. EF isn’t perfect and units aren’t but I think they are dang close to the best cost and features considered plus the potential just for current units is really huge if they add more accessories and waypoints/ways to connect to many types of power. It’s really impressive what may be possible for especially delta max and larger ef portable stations…plus newer versions possible with more features could happen.

overall this app is pretty good. functionally, it works most of the time, except i have noticed that the app doesn't seem to report A/C usage when viewing a device that is remote to the current location of the app. i see wattage flowing for output, but i don't see it for the A/C input. Once i’m physically on the same network, then A/C input flow is displayed properly. to be clear, i use products at two different locations. when i am at one location viewing devices at the other location, the real-time A/C input data isn't working or perhaps it isn't working some of the time.Another informational improvement that would be a good to add feature, would be an actual troubleshooting process section. example: i set up a new River 2 Max, but i didn’t immediately join it to WIFI, or update the firmware. the unit must have went to sleep, and after this the bluetooth connection method wasn't working. the unit would not turn off with the 3 second long press of the power button. i finally was able to make it turn off after i attached my laptop to the USB C connection. its as if the unit needed an actual use, before it would acknowledge a “turn off” command. Information such as that should be in a troubleshooting section. way better choice as opposed to what folks were stating in forums, which was to completely drain the battery, and then it would naturally turn off.

I really appreciate the app as you can make setting changes to the EcoFlow Delta Pro 2 remotely and manage the settings from your phone. Smart inclusion!! We appreciate the various ports on the EcoFlow system and it has ports that the Oukitel lacks. I like being able to fast charge the system if needed, and to save on the batteries from ultimately fast charging the batteries, which will extend the life of the batteries. We like the EcoFlow Delta Pro 2 and if it meets your needs, we recommend it because of its quality, ease of use, footprint size is manageable, but if you’re older and don’t like lifting weights, just use caution when you handle the unit so you don’t injure yourself. It’s not extremely heavy but be prepared to carry some weight when you’re moving it around. We use a small hand dolly to move it from one side of the house to another for easy handling. We also have an Oukitel 2000 watt battery backup system and while it works fine, it doesn’t have an app, and it would be nice if they would release one for it. I’m not holding my breath since we’ve had the unit for a year now and to my knowledge there isn’t an app for it. Otherwise it works fine for our needs. We just appreciate that the EcoFlow is a 2400 watt system so a bit more power when you need it. In our minds we value the EcoFlow system for its style, including 2 handles for moving it around, the clear display is easy to use and see, and how quiet the system is when in use. Nice job EcoFlow for the decent quality and build of the unit, and again, having the app to use and monitor the system is a necessity that all of these units should come with, and if what you’re looking at for a purchase, make sure that it comes with an app!

I purchased and installed 2 Ultra Pro’s with 4 batteries connected to a smart panel. I have ten 240 watt solar panels feeding each Ultra Pro. It’s basically taken care of all my energy needs. I’m a general contractor so installing the panel was relatively easy although I would advise most people to hire an electrician. Connecting the batteries to the Ultra Pro’s and then connecting them to the smart panel was super simple. Just plug everything in with the provided connectors and it’s ready to go. Turning it on and setting up your preferences in the app couldn’t be easier. The best part of the entire system- it just works!!! I love how simple Eco Flow has made these products to use. The average user even with limited knowledge can hook these up and everything will work like it should. I highly recommend these products. I’m planning on buying additional Eco Flow products for my RV so I can be completely off grid while camping. Thank you Eco Flow, I can’t wait to see what you come out with next! Brian- Monterey, CA
