App is *operable* but only with a lot of patience. Timer is not reliable due to necessity of active bluetooth connection (apparently Novolink thinks people are going to sit their phones in BT range of the lights during the entirety of whatever timer you have set). Since update color settings are terribly buggy and aren’t holding across themes. Setting colors is also very buggy, inconsistent, and takes massive amounts of fiddling to get right.I will also reiterate other commenters that have noted the dimness of the lights. This is not an absolute fail but you need to be aware that these are only useful for accent lighting.Happy to revise this review if corrections are made. If the app was more functional this could be a good product 👍

Super buggy, both in the app itself and the control of the lights. If you fiddle with it and reset it repeatedly you can sometimes get it to do what you want for a few minutes before it glitches out and you have to unplug it and wait a few hours for it to reset. Over the last few days I have about a 50/50 ratio of working lights to fighting with this horrible app. I will be returning these lights for a refund. Don’t bother with Novolink, the app is garbage and you’ll regret wasting your time and money. Look at the other reviews— they clearly don’t care and aren’t going to fix this. Also, it claims it doesn’t collect your data. Why do I need to create and log into an account to turn my lights on? Why does this app ask for my location data? Seems like the spyware was the only part of this app they actually put effort into.

There are a lot of options but the app is relatively easy to use. The timer setting is great once it is set. Make sure the Bluetooth is connected when setting up otherwise the lights do not pick up the changes.

The app interface feels childish with bad stock images and icons. Setting the colors is nice and easy, but not very responsive. The timer is horrid! They never come on, or turn off, at the time they were set for. Sometimes up to an hour late, if at all. There’s no way to set the current time, so I assume it just reads from the phone, but I would expect it to be 100% accurate. Which it’s not.
