Find anything you own in seconds.
Itemlist remembers where everything is, so you don't have to. Give every item a place once, then find it again the moment you need it.
SEARCH THAT ACTUALLY FINDS THINGS
Type whatever you remember: a name, a brand, a detail. Search matches across every field. Or scan a barcode to search your inventory.
ORGANIZED LIKE REAL STORAGE
Locations hold rooms, rooms hold containers, and containers nest inside other containers, as deep as your shelves actually go. The box inside the crate inside the closet is one search away.
EVERY PLACE YOU KEEP THINGS
Create a separate location for each place: your house, office, vacation home, storage unit. Each one keeps its own rooms, containers, and inventory, all in one app.
SHARED WITH YOUR HOUSEHOLD OR TEAM
Every location is shared separately: your family sees the house, your coworkers see the office, and nobody sees what isn't theirs. You control who can view and who can edit, and the location owner's PRO covers everyone in it.
LENT IT OUT? MOVED IT "JUST FOR NOW"?
With PRO, mark an item as lent and see who has it, or mark it as displaced and Itemlist remembers where it really is until it goes back.
STOP RE-BUYING WHAT YOU ALREADY OWN
A quick search tells you whether you already have one before you buy another.
READY FOR THE BAD DAY TOO
Photos, serial numbers, purchase prices, and condition on every item, with CSV export ready for an insurance claim, your business records, or your accountant.
ON ALL YOUR DEVICES
iPhone and iPad. Works offline and syncs across your devices.
FREE TO START
Up to 100 items and 20 containers free. PRO adds unlimited items and containers, location sharing, lending, and displaced tracking.

I was writing a long glowing review and lost it before submitting it. For now suffice to say I started out just cataloging my 30 tote bins of Halloween decorations and liked the app so much that I am now using it as a tool to accommodate for my AuDHD. I am cataloging my regular possessions. Since I have an issue with “out of sight - out of mind,” Itemlist helps me keep track of what I already have as well as helping me not need to have to have “somewhere special so I won’t lose it” for important stuff, like my ballot. I was able to put it wherever and just catalog it. No memory required. Anything that gets put away gets put into the database when I do so. It’s like having a side brain that actually works. I tried several other cataloging apps and was disappointed repeatedly. This is the one that actually does what it is supposed to do. What really sold me on this is the User Wishlist and the fact that items were actually being checked off. The developer is actively improving Itemlist based on users’ needs.

Thank you for sharing your experience with Itemlist! I'm thrilled to hear that the app has been so helpful for cataloging your Halloween decorations and everyday possessions. It's great to know that it's making life easier by keeping everything in one place and serving as that reliable 'side brain.' I'm especially glad that you're finding our ongoing improvements valuable. Your support and feedback are integral to making Itemlist even better, and I'm grateful for your kind words. If there's anything more I can assist you with, please feel free to reach out!

Lots of great features - container hierarchy is well done - but way too much clicking overall. Put a “move” button next to each item/container in the list view. After moving an item, go back to the view of where it was moved from so you can move the next thing. Moving items is one of the top interactions a user will have with the app besides creating and searching; don’t make it take 3 clicks every time I want to move something then multiple clicks to get back to where I was to move the next thing. Have the bottom menu (search, add, list) visible at all times so I don’t have to click Back a bunch of times to get out of a container.

Thank you for spelling this out so clearly, this kind of feedback shapes the app. Version 2.1 just shipped and it helps with exactly this: long press any item or container for quick actions, including Move, and you can undo right after moving something. It's not everything you asked for, but moving things takes fewer taps now. Damjan
Literally a life saver if you have ADHD or just struggle to stay organized

I’ve never left an App Store review before but I just have to say that this is the best invention for my ADHD that I’ve ever found. Literally I’ve always said “I wish I could search my brain for where I put stuff” AND HERE IT IS. genius. Other people might not appreciate it as much as I do, but being someone who constantly buys stuff that I already have and continue to get clutter, it makes me so happy. Appreciate this app and its makers so much. I know this will be helpful for when I move too because I can use it for boxes to know what’s in them ugh it’s PERFECT.

I've been looking for a home inventory program for a long time and a friend of mine told me about this one and after checking it out I asked that perhaps they could give a discount to a disabled veteran and the owner wrote me back and said he would be happy to accommodate me if I could submit something to verify my condition which I did this guy didn't need to do that he provided me with a great program easy to use well written and I just want to say thank you very very much
