I’ve been looking for software I can hook up to my electric kit & that I can play along with via a note highway. So this is exactly what I was looking for. I will add that the label for each drum/cymbal are small - I can barely see them when my tablet is 2-3 feet away. More rock music like pop/punk would be amazing & an option to add music to practice via note highway from any artist would be beyond amazing. Can’t wait to see this company grow

Overall I like the apps organization, theme, and idea.One complaint though…I wish there was more free stuff.And, my suggestion: Maybe make it possible to play with non electronic drum kits irl? Maybe use the camera to scan the kit or something? Maybe have a sound recognition system so it shows drum sheets for the song and can tell you if you’re playing right on time or not? And then maybe at the end how much accuracy / points you got and your record? Even if it’s not interactive like that, if you just release some sheet music to follow along too, that’d be amazing. For people who pay you could allow them to play additional songs with free people only playing selective songs or lessons?

We don’t support acoustic drum kits, but you can still use Beatlii’s Sheet Music mode to follow along and get direct feedback on your timing and accuracy when using an e-kit. Nice but…

I want to start of my saying I love the lesson structure, the music is fantastic, and the interface is clean and pretty. That being said, having just gotten my Titan 75, I’ve been trying out different drum lesson apps and Beatlii seems to be the only one having trouble with crosstalk between the kick pedal and crash, and not recognizing when the hi hat pedal is down randomly. I want to love it and subscribe but when every other app seems to recognize my kicks and pedal presses fine, I can’t justify it. I’ll definitely keep an eye on it though and try back in a few months after some updates though because it really is a great app otherwise.

This has SO MUCH POTENTIAL, but it isn’t living up to it yet. I just got my Freedrum 2 sticks and sensors in and after having some glitchy problems connecting, I was very excited to start playing. I fooled around with it a bit and found I needed to personalize the kit because the drums felt too close to my body. When I was personalizing, the snare worked great and immediately turned green. When I moved to the high-hat, the placement was right and I was hitting it consistently, but it never turned green even after several minutes. When the bugs are ironed out I can see this being fantastic, but it isn’t there yet. Looking forward to seeing more updates.
