I have another bank I’ve been using for 30 years. There website is not as easy and accommodating as the Northwest site. That bank frequently has messages about having problems, or “can’t do that at this time”.Tonight I wanted to make aa extra payment against the principle on my home loan. The option of pay against principle came up as part of the process. Then there was the message about they can’t do it immediately -which was followed by “but you can schedule it”. Cool. Scheduled it for two days from now. One stop, and all is set.

Seriously, I don’t have a problem with the bank itself but the newest update to the app is seriously the opposite of “more convenient.”Of course, I had to go through the hoops to log back into my account. Fine, whatever, I expect that at least once a year. Now the app is slower with reading whatever links I click on to, as if I didn’t even click on the link. To make it even more frustrating, I can not rotate the page at all. Which is far more inconvenient than you might think. I do not use the app on my phone, if I did, I guess that would be fine. I use my iPad for all that stuff. It is not at all user friendly to not be able to set my iPad on its keyboard stand when I’m trying to reference between my checkbook and online bank statement. Please fix the issue, but without making more issues in the process.

I moved from Puerto Rico to Jamestown NY and I asked a coworker which is the best Bank in town so Liza told me is The Northwest Bank seen that day I open up the account that was in 2011 … and this Bank was so good to me and my wife and family… then I want to by a house And Steven Long take me step by steps how and he do all the process and paperwork Sandy short for Sandy was the one who opened the accounts for me and my wife after that I brought my daughters … I love this bank thank you for all the benefits you guys have for the people in Jamestown N.Y.

The application limits to only 2 Devices for face recognition, but doesn’t give any options how to remove them. My wife & I just got new phones and I can’t use Face Recognition to open the application, since our 2 old phones had the application registered with the Bank. All other banks I didn’t have any such issues with their application and switching to new phones; it seems Northwest bank is an outlier. They should provide options/instructions in the application to add new phones and remove old phones.
