I’ve never been able to follow any fitness program consistently longer than a month. I’m almost at a year mark since joining Evlo and don’t plan to stop! I’m in my early 40’s, have always hated exercising, and am intimidated by gyms, equipment, everything! Evlo changed everything for me. It is gentle on my body and joints and most importantly it’s gentle on my nervous system. I never leave a workout feeling completely spent or feeling miserable like I would with other programs I’ve tried. Instead, I finish feeling calm and strong. I’ve noticed such a difference in my strength and because of building muscle, a lot of my aches and pains have gone away. I love that this program is run by physical therapists who understand how the body works and they work so hard to make sure each exercise is efficient and effective rather than burning out your whole system. I love that they have new classes every week so it keeps me motivated and doesn’t feel too repetitive. I love that you can choose to play a workout with or without music. I love that they focus on mobility and they talk about how important the cool downs are (it’s my favorite!). The cardio workouts are also amazing and help with brain functioning as well, so added bonus! Overall I am so happy with this program and recommend it to everyone. Thank you to the thoughtful smart instructors who explain everything so well!

I did the free trial and am pretty sold on continuing with the monthly membership, it is more costly than other apps but I understand the value add of having only Dr’s teach the classes. I love the alternative workouts because I have joint pains from an autoimmune issue that I need to avoid exacerbating, so any alternate moves that are more cozy on my joints is a huge benefit. I have one suggestion which I noticed someone else made the same observation I did. For the alternate move swaps, you can go through different swaps and they have a video for each one to preview how to do the motion - but if you are watching the actual main workout video it does not replace the moves with your swaps, so you have to memorize the swap. They do offer alternate movements during the main exercise video to help but they don’t go through all of the alternates obviously since that would take up a lot of time in the video. I’m wondering if there’s a future update in the works for somehow updating the main video after you select your chosen alternate workouts? Not sure if that would be way too complicated to piece together for the app but would be super helpful for those needing to utilize swaps a lot! Thank you for creating such a wonderful app, I truly appreciate feeling like I have actual knowledgeable professionals and not just social media influencers choosing my workouts.

I adore this fitness program! It’s the only app I’ve found that checks every box - I know all my muscles will be worked evenly and in a timely manner, using moves that are comfortable (specifically not hurting my sensitive knees or engaging my overactive upper traps). Cardio is scheduled in. Rest is scheduled in and actively encouraged. I also just love their vibe - the classes are reminiscent of pilates in the instructors’ calm thoughtful manner (I choose to not listen to the playlist) while still being serious lifting. When I’d make my own routine, I would get so frustrated trying to navigate condescending fitness content online that I’d regularly stop weightlifting all together and just do pilates even though that’s not enough for me anymore. Or I would do too much cardio and aggravate a long standing knee-injury. Or I would completely ignore certain muscle groups while overdoing others. I’ve never managed to create the simple, well rounded fitness routine of my dreams, even when I temporarily stopped using Evlo and tried to program something similar on my own to save money. The mental freedom and reclaimed free time I’ve gotten from sticking with Evlo is such a gift. I enjoy the classes and am confident that following this program long term will set me up for great health down the line. No overhead presses, burpees, or heavy squats needed!

I have waited a long time to write this review. I wanted to give honest and realistic feedback to this workout program. When I started using Evlo, I was in the worst shape of my life.I had not worked out consistently in a long time due to injuries and repetitive stress from my job. I was the weakest I’ve ever been. Scared to lift weights scared to do anything. A friend of mine introduced me to this program. When I first started I could barely lift 2 to 3 pound weights for my upper body, and my lower body was imbalanced and weak. Over the course of several years I have been able to gradually increase my weights in a safe and functional way. I have healed my relationship with working out. I went from doing high intensity workouts that put extreme stress on my body to fully embracing the gentle consistency. I feel strong, confident, and proud of the work I’ve done with this program. I finally found something that works for me. I love all the options for workouts and the flexibility to modify each workout to what works for me. Currently on the new 3x week track and I absolutely love it. There is so much value provided for the monthly membership price. Bonus is they are always shifting and adding to improve things. Thank you Evlo Team. You have changed my life.
