Importing midi to the piano roll is the best part of this app besides being free. Tons of midi tracks for free online from classical to video game music just to give anyone reading this an idea of how cool this feature is. Slowing the tempo down with the lighted keys and what’s on the screen help since I’m not that great at reading sheet music. It’s a good tool for me as someone who’s getting back into learning having had some previous experience.I’m using the LK-S250. Some of the features on the app aren’t compatible with my model since it a lower end model and older I think. I can’t seem to adjust the volume between the keyboard and the app which makes it hard to hear between the two. Some of the midi I imported have multiple tracks and didn’t exactly line up with a cohesive left and right hand positioned track to learn from. Not a huge deal cause I can edit the midi in a DAW. Wish you could highlight a group of notes to loop sections. I bought the keyboard barely used for 100 bucks and the app was free. Overall pretty good deal.

I would not want to control a Casio digital piano without this app because it allows me to access many important features that is otherwise more difficult to do using the piano proprietary interfaces on the Casio digital pianos. This app is well designed, makes sense, and makes it so I can enjoy playing the piano more and using many important features that are necessary to make their digital pianos sound as good as they can possibly be. I am using this only because I use a Casio keyboard, and because it’s free and requires no subscription. The reason I gave it 3 instead of 1 star(s) is because:1. It’s free2. Casio has and always will make amazing, affordable, and cool looking keyboards.However, the music player on it really just doesn’t work. Like at all. Also, this may just be because I’m a newcomer at piano, but I can’t even play the easiest song. The easiest song has multiple chords, a fast tempo, and is very complicated and confusing. It also doesn’t have you play the notes and instead plays them for you, so you’ll never know if you played the correct note because of all the notes in front of it. I would rather start out with kindergarten grade songs like Mary had a little lamb, and then slowly up the tempo and add more complicated chords and notes until you can play some extremely complicated songs like Beethovens moonlight sonata volume 5. I am deciding if I wanna make this 2 or 3 stars, but if I could, I would do 2.5. Overall, it doesn’t glitch too often and I love the feel of a simple little game that it gives off. It reminds me of that game called pop tropica I played when I was little. The loading screen and the transition between the main menu and the loading screen is extremely smooth. Just because of that, I have decided to give it 3 stars. The app has some major flaws but for a free app, it’s worth it. 3/5 , or 6/10.

Great app for use with my CDP S360. Controlling my keyboard thru the app is a nice feature. If I had one request it would be to have a way to control the volume on the user keyboard part. Right now I have to tediously edit the MIDI file to prevent the keyboard voice from being drowned out, or being too loud. Even with editing it’s not perfect. Another request would be having .kar capability to allow lyrics while playing! Overall though I’m enjoying the app.
