Navy Yard Transit is one app for all your urban mobility and transit rides.
Designed by Moovit, the Navy Yard Transit app provides riders with a one-stop-shop journey experience to help them get from point A to B in the easiest and most efficient way. Get train and bus times, maps, and real-time arrival information with ease so that you can plan your trip with confidence. Pay and validate your rides. Find critical alerts and service disruptions for your favorite lines. Get step-by-step directions of optimal route bus, train, subway, bike, or any combination.
Commuters will find updated bus and train times, transit maps, and, where available, real-time line arrivals. Locate nearby bus stops and train stations, travel with on-the-go live navigation guidance, receive get-off alerts when approaching your destination to ensure a smooth ride.
► Real-time arrivals. View real-time arrival information, which is taken directly from GPS devices positioned on buses and trains. Avoid wasting time guessing train times or bus times.
► Digital payment. Purchase bus & train tickets and validate your digital pass with a tap (select cities).
► Real time alerts. Know about issues ahead of time by receiving service alerts such as emergency or unexpected disruptions, delays, traffic jams, new construction, and more so that you can plan ahead if your bus time or train time changed.
► Live Directions. Get step-by-step bus directions and other transit directions with live guidance from A-to-B: Know how long you need to walk to your station, view your line's arrival time, receive get-off alerts as you approach your destination, and more.
► Visualize Your Stop. Use augmented reality to locate your bus or train stop with "Way Finder".
► User reports. Users can report issues found with stations, line service, and schedules so that we can inform all nearby riders about what’s going on in their area.
► Favorite lines, stations, and places. Get easy access to lines, stations, and places you ride and visit all the time. Plus, get real-time updates if/when there are changes to your favorite lines in case your bus time or train time is impacted!
► Bike routes. Get bike routes in addition to the bus, subway, train, or metro trip plans. If you ride bikes (yours or shared) we can plan a route that includes the train or bus. The app will help you plan a trip that meets your transit-needs. Indego bike docking stations are updated in real-time. Bike trip plans are only available in supported metro areas.
► Maps view. Interested in seeing the whole picture? View all stations, routes, and lines on the subway or bus map. Additionally, maps are available in PDF for when you’re offline, or underground on the subway.

It is almost never accurate and has made me late to work dozens of times. Do not rely on the schedule. None of the drivers follow it.
Waste of phone memory

It could say the bus is arriving in 2 minutes and then, when it doesn’t, you go back in the app and it says 15. And even that is not accurate because once you start walking over (who’s is faster!!) you see it coming down the road 10 minutes later. When it is close in time (when the number turns green), it STILL doesn’t arrive on time. Part of this app’s issue is their actual drivers and the navy yard itself. Their drivers are ridiculously slow because some are busy texting and then the navy yard entrance has been under construction for 2 years so they have to around the entire place to get to you. The app hasn’t accommodated for that. In addition they only have ONE BUS going around and around instead of several to be able to pick up everyone. They should consider putting GPS on their buses and connecting it to the app so you can get more accuracy. Or save yourself trouble and don’t ever accept a job in the navy yard in Filthadelphia.
Not a legitimate transit option

Real time tracker has only ever worked once in 1.5 years. Drivers arrive and depart whenever they want. If they know how long it takes to run a route, why not make the bus on a legit schedule so people can actually plan when to be at the station to get picked up instead of “approx. every 15 minutes.” You know how long the route is just make the schedule set times. Also, since the buses arrivals/departures aren’t reliable, good luck planning your SEPTA trip to the bus stop. The shuttle doesn’t not take into consideration SEPTA’s bus and train arrivals so a lot of busses and trains get there a minute or two after the bus leaves, especially the early bird shuttle then you’re left waiting 25 minutes. The only thing I can thing of other than poor management by Kraff is that they are short on drivers which is why they won’t make a set schedule but for anyone considering a job in the Navy Yard and is going to use the shuttle, sadly think twice. It gets old real fast, if you are lucky to work near a bike corral, rent a city bike to bike from NRG to downtown Navy Yard. Also, the routes need to be re thought. The bus should start by going down Pattinson to 26th, stop at TK, and then proceeded to the ship yard, Urban, the offices and then back up to NRG. That way people don’t have to ride the whole line just to get from Urban to NRG. This shuttle needs rethought. Final point, they either do or do not check fares. They check work IDs because people with a Navy ID need to pay. What about non employees? Isn’t this a free shuttle for the public too. Just doesn’t see useful to make some pay I know it has to do with dues paid for the overall funding. The whole shuttle system needs rethought and it is not a legitimate form of transit.
Pick up schedule at 10th & Filbert
Apps Kritic
Has anyone bothered to look at the regional rail schedule when SEPTA trains arrive first thing in the morning. Please take a look at the NORRISTOWN and Doylestown lines-Please! When those trains arrive in the morning at Jefferson Station few of them synch up with the Navy Yard bus schedule which is set only on the top and bottom of the hour. Please shift your pick up times at 10th & Filbert 10-15 mins before or 10-15 mins at the top and bottom of the hour. Thank you!
